I grew up in a really small town, where everyone knew everyone else and we could keep our doors unlocked at night, and out there it was quiet enough that you could literally hear the sounds of summer; the wind would get louder, the horses ran more often and it sounded like thunder, the bugs and birds got louder, and you could feel the chance of the tornadoes that always came through at the changing of the seasons. This song really makes me homesick for that place.
