Long have I searched for my home.

My vision, once clear, was now blurred.
I knew where to go to save them,

Moving was so hard.
I fought and fought,
but felt weaker every day.
For a long time I lay in hiding,
unsure of my future, losing hope
But then, through a ray of light, bright and warm
A tiny feather came falling down,
floating gently on the breeze.
A white feather, a familiar feather.
My vision cleared, I knew what to do.
I got up and started running, faster and faster.
Running until I came of the ground,
until I flew, my wings expanding
I keep running, running, running on
Until I fly alongside my feathered kin again
Nothing can stop me now.

Her favorite palce is a clearing in the forset. In spring each step sends pollen into the air around her, and the sweet smell reminds her that the hardships of winter have passed and summer is on its way.

Life:
Even though living in nothig for many moths, Olaia was raised in a sun warmed forest with many other members, including the lead buck. But one day, a sweep of yellow machines ripped a whole through her land, and her heart. Her family perished, Olaia searched through many other forests, mostly getting chased away by others, until she realized, though her home was destroyed, it would still be hers. No, she tries to regain what has been lost through the months, in hoping to repopulate what it was at once.
