Hello everyone!! Welcome to the CU Artist Search!! We are currently looking for full-time adopt and breeding artists, as well as one part-time breeding artist. This will be rolling acceptance and won't be closing for some time, so you have lots of time!

Please note: Gravity is the one judging this, but their computer is not being very nice so Frontier is posting this for them.

Rules:

• Please read about CUs, especially the colour information. You can find that HERE
• Please mark this thread.
• Make yourself a cover sheet and put all of your entries under it, this will help keep things organized. Please clearly write your name somewhere on the cover. =)
• Please know a little bit about horse colourations and genetics. By no means are we asking for you to be an expert, but please know that a paint foal will not come from two solid parents, etc.
• In the cover topic, please post the form at the bottom of this post.
• For each CU you post, please include the colour information and a small blurb about it. (mostly interested in what you like/dislike and what you're looking to improve on)
• Breeding Try-outs, please included the parents along with the colour information and the blurb.

Artist Rules:

• Please be able to post at least 3 CUs per month.
• Breeding Artists, please be able to do at least 3 breedings per month.
• Part-Time Breeding Artist will be open whenever they get a chance, but they do not have a monthly quota.
• You may make special adopts (gene bombs, line edits, etc.) but please consult me about themed groups.

Regular Adopt Artists:
If you're trying out to be a regular adopt artist, please make at least two adopts - one solid coloured with white markings (socks, blaze, that type of thing) and one patterned (appaloosa or pinto of some sort). Please do not make a chimeric. Both can be any colour, but it is encouraged that you try roans, sooty, cream colours, etc. You may enter up to four CUs. Bonus points for a CU with line edits.

Breeding Artists:
For breeding artists, please make at least two adopts. You may choose from the provided pairings. Please ensure that at least one is pinto or appaloosa. A good calculator for foal possibilities is located HERE You may also hand-pick one breeding from the V2 adopts. No V1 adopts please.

Certainly! please keep in mind that if you want to try for both, you need to submit the minimum requirements for both.

Alrighty guys, I'm going to start going through the entries and leaving some remarks, especially on breeding results. By no means does a remark mean that you're unqualified, as breedings/genetics are really tough. Also I might just pop in to tell you how pretty a certain pony is. ^-^
