~ Staff Litter

#198 & #199m have a very strong connection, and always go hunting together! They maybe completely opposite, but they are both very quiet on their feet, and love to hunt. #198 tends to get a bit impatient, #199 tends to be to patient but patient enough. #198 never gets into any trouble being a loner, while #199 tends to get herself busted but she just loves her pals, but never more than her bro. It is impossible to break the bond between these siblings!

I really hope you guys enjoy him, tried to be sure he was simple for people do, art of him!

It was a winter night, and a giant storm was rolling in. I was walking by myself, without any of my Nera's. I know, I know, it's stupid, but I have to find him. I've been following a stallion for a few days, and he lead me to a valley, after going through a half frozen river and over a rocky hill. He's getting tired, so I stop to make a small fire to warm my frail body.
30 minutes have passed, and I hear footsteps behind me. Being quiet, my body stays still and a breathe of warm blows against my back. He's shy, but curious, but he seemed to like me. I heard a puff, and turned around to watch him walk away. I followed, an we came to a ledge that overlooked the whole valley. He sees beauty in everything, an artistic Neravontii.I held up my hand for him to inspect, and he touched his nose to it, chests heaving.
Walking back to the camp site with him, I finally figured a name for him.
"Einzelgänger, you'll be mine forever." I whispered to him.
Standing by the fire, I laid down, and he curled around me, his large blue body protecting me from the harsh winds.

|Series of Firsts| First Saddle

Postby noreptiles_ » Wed Jul 08, 2015 7:20 am

Winter has passed, and I've gone back home with Zel, my new stallion. Our bond has grown, and he doesn't show as much aggression around others. On a spring morning, I woke up refreshed and ready. Ready to saddle my new stud. Walking to the barn, I stepped carefully on the still icy ground to his paddock. Removing his blanket, I took him into the barn to try the saddle.
Zel listened well, and stood still for the saddle blanket, saddle and bridle. A few minutes passed, and he changed his mind, and threw his blue head to the ceiling and bucked out. I was ready for this, and I removed the tack quickly and washed him down. It's always like that.
The next day, I brought the tack out to the paddock instead, and slowly tacked him up. He listened this time and didn't panic at all. Smiling, I hugged my pretty boy, and took the tack off, and let him be free to roam his paddock.

|Series of Firsts| First Ride

Postby noreptiles_ » Thu Jul 09, 2015 4:43 am

The first time I rode him was actually an accident. It was a misty night and in the distance, a huge black swirling cloud headed our way. Everyone at the farm recognized it was dangerous, so I hurriedly rushed all my Nera's into a huge barn that could withstand almost anything. As I counted, I realized that Zel wasn't in his stall, probably because of how many Nera's were in there. I ran out, just to be pushed down by the buffering winds, so I slowly crawled out to his paddock, to find him in the corner, flattening himself to the ground. As the air gentled, I leaped to my feet and sprinted to where he was and knelt to search for any injuries, which were none. What happened next happened in a blur, and I could barely remember until now.
Lightning hit the ground near us, and launched me into the static, blue sky. As I fell down, my arms tingled, and my hair stood on end from the electricity. My mouth was screwed shut, but my eyes were plastered open in fear. I landed on something soft, yet sturdy, his back. Gripping on, he galloped out of his paddock, leaped over the fence, and made a beeline to the safe barn.
When we reached the barn, my helpers closed the double doors, and Zel continued on into his stall. Upon entering, I slid off, but his tail caught me, and gently lowered me next to him. Shakily, I hugged his wet, smooth neck and thanked him, for saving my life.
It was only until the next morning that I realized that I rode on his back, and scrambled to write it in my journal.
I rode Einzelgänger bareback in a storm.
