fairy isn't the one to sit out and do nothing. she's the party animal among her group of friends. fae constantly craves attention, whether it's positive or negative, and likes being in the spotlight. she can be overconfident at times, but on the inside, she's very insecure about herself. she's never really been happy with her image, but pretends that it's all fine. fairy can also be extremely condescending, and will put others down to make her feel better. she's not afraid to say what's on her mind, and will put things out without thinking, directly and blunt. fae also strives to be better than others, and if she believes it, then she thinks that others will too. although she likes attention and will act rashly for it, she's has a very underwhelming appearance, and seems very shy at a glance, due to the fact that she seems to be hiding within her hair. while fairy is pretty vain and self-centered, she's also very loyal and honest. she had a few... incidents in the past that had to due with lies and deceit, and now, fae swears never to be anything less than true to others around her. lastly, fairy is on the lazy side. she'll do anything for a donut or two, and will usually lounge around when there's work to be done.

history

|| there are many among us- and we're changing all the time



fairy's never really had much of a "stable life". her parents moved roughly four times. starting in fort worth, texas, and then moving all the way to astoria, oregon, that was in the first three years of her life! when fae had finally befriended a few kids, in first grade, the delarosas moved again, this time to salem, new hampshire. fae stayed there for 4 years, from when she was six to ten, and then her family moved around the area of new york city. as of now, fairy still lives there, but when she was younger, she wasn't much of a fan of the place. it was always crowded, and fae couldn't really connect to any of the people there. however, when she met two kids that were in detention with her, she instantly fell into place. caius and meredith, the two largest troublemakers in the class, became friends with her, and that opened her up to more people that fairy befriended. although she still felt like a solitary figure, fae acknowledged that this was as close to having someone to confide in as possible.
an important thing about her in her earlier years is her drastic personality difference. as a child, fae was... definitely a lot quieter. she didn't speak until she was two. as an only child, fairy kind of detached herself from the world around her, and when she was younger, she seemed to lack emotion for most of the time. she was a very boring kid, and it's no wonder why she was such a loner. after meeting caius and meredith, she began to be louder, and then grew into the person she is today.
but back on track, fairy began to live her life in new york. by this time, she'd grown closer to her parents than she was previously. and the results she got from them was what she refers to as her golden rules. as a businessman, her father always taught her to make sure to get the easy way out, and get what she wanted. her mother, on the other hand, taught her daughter about how to fake confidence and other emotions, if necessary. fairy ended up taking the worst aspects of each of them to create her master plan- fake everything to thrive and get what you want. by the time she was in her last year of high school, she had this plan locked into her mind, and was slowly creating an idea of how she'd get by when she got into college.
you see, fae was always one for crazy, extreme ideas. ones that could backfire. she loved the adrenaline rush, and still does, to this day. so what did she come up with? fairy had always been interested in the topic of dumb magic tricks, fake "potions", tarot cards, and all of that fun stuff. so with scraps she found on sale, she created a sort of alter ego- the fairy, a masked, caped, mysterious plumerian that would show up at the same place each wednesday to put on a little "show" of sorts, and sell certain fake potions and such for money, scamming people. it took fae a long time to realize how awful this was. the police were following her for a while, but she eventually ended up stopping when she made a fake "truth serum" (which was just blue gatorade with some of those fancy, glittery sprinkles and stuff in it). it was then that she decided to stop, after pondering over what the truth was to her. (you can read more about this in the comic below ^^)
now, fairy has turned to both donuts and gardening for comfort. fae has moved into a really small house with a large backyard in farmingdale, new york, and she's taken a break from college to try and get her life together from the darker points of time. she's been living off of a small florist business of hers, a part time job at caius' bakery, and borrowed money from some of her wealthier friends and her parents. she's gotten a little less reckless, but she's still the same as she's been for a while.
