Top: Elphaba
Derived from the author of The Wizard of OZ's initials, L.F.B. Also has the same pronunciation with emphasis on the first syllable, like DOR-thy. Also her name in Wicked, for the same reasons.

Bottom: Liana
A pretty name for a pretty girl.

Relashionship: Elphaba and Liana are sisters, but no one other than them know about that. When they are together they act like friends - though not great ones. They bicker and don't share many common interests.

Elphaba is a bookworm. She studies and reads, and her
passion is in defying all odds. Elphaba wasn't supposed to live, exactly.
She was adopted, found out in the dessert. But she lived. Now she
seeks to defy something nearly impossible - physics. She reads about
physics, draws graphs and writes notes, and is on the brink of
discovering what she calls magic. ((Do I have permission for her to have some?))
But Elphaba is lonely, no one seems to share her interests. Despite the
severity, she doesn't try to make friends. She has a slight temper,
and she doesn't want to blow up on anyone.

Liana finds the idea interesting, but not useful.
What's the point of secluding yourself and keeping
your nose in a book all the time? Liana craves the
spotlight. She wants to be a performer. She doesn't
trifle with theory or vague concepts. Her goal is
perfection. She is the go-to girl for anything fashion
or fun! Liana doesn't particularly get along with
Elphaba, but when she needs someone to talk to or
blow up on, she's there.
