Name: Dancing With Deer a.k.a. Felowna
Gender: Filly/Mare
Personality: Felowna is an extremely timid and shy girl. If you glance her way she will often freeze in place and stare at you like a deer in headlights. If you go to make a move towards her she usually does this jerky movement about to bolt, then if you take another step she will bolt a good ways before stopping to see where you are. Luckily once she sees people a few times she stops bolting as much, but everyone usually approaches her slowly and slightly turned away never quite looking at her directly. One thing that has been discovered to help her is work with some of the wild animals Serpentine will agree to hold for a local rescue center if they have an overflow of animals. Her true friend is Deadri a piebald white-tailed doe who has lived here since a few years back after multiple failed attempts at reintroduction, the two are peas in a pod now since the deer sticks around. Their favourite pass time together is jumping and racing around the paddock in rain or shine. This is of course the origin of Felowna's show name, when they frolic about like dancers. Felowna's show type is racing purely, she is as quick as can be coincidentally like a startled deer she'll bolt from the gate and keep on going. Though she has a tendency to be a sprinter so she runs out at the end. Our jockeys either hold her back at the beginning or let her loose on short races in the hopes she can pull ahead enough to spare some time to putter at the end a bit.
