How he/she got his/her ribbon on their horn: Polaris technically received her ribbon as a gift. Seeing as her wings reflect the night sky, she became very interested in stars. This led to her mother getting her a telescope as a gift, so she could look at the shimmering stars at a new perspective. Polaris was overjoyed about receiving the gift, and to make sure she always remembered the moment she got it, she tied the bow that had been attached to it onto her horn.
