Dreamer
Just one look at Annabelle, and it's obvious that she's a dreamer. She often gets in trouble at school for daydreaming and staring out the window. In fact, she daydreams so much in class that she is no longer allowed to sit near the window! Of course, now she just stares at her desk as she lives in her fantasy world of super heroes and unicorns.
Amiable
Annabelle can be friends with nearly anybody. Her sweet personality to others makes her popular around the babysitting circle, and she has many friends that are always willing to help her. Although, being amiable doesn't always mean that you are a social butterfly. Annabelle would much rather spend time alone in the woods than be at a friends house. Plus, her easygoing attitude makes her an easy target for being a third wheel.
Whimsical
This mostly relates to her voice and singing. Annabelle has a love for music, but more classical music than pop/rock types. She loves to listen to classical music, because of the colors the instruments make together. She feels whimsical when she is listening and dancing to the music in the little sunny spot in the forest.
Empathetic and Emotional
Annabelle is very empathetic and emotional, and the two traits tie into each other very well. She can tell when August is feeling down, she can tell when Anya is troubled, and she can tell when Bella is mad at Wesley. She usually takes on the emotions of people around her. Tori explains to her that she takes away the pain from others when she compliments them and realizes her own faults. Yet, Annabelle is always willing to help others even though she knows it may hurt her.

Digging Deeper:
Annabelle is very different from her siblings. Her siblings are all very close, despite the arguments they often have. Annabelle isn't as close to her siblings, but she still is pretty close to them. But, she doesn't have many friends. She simply doesn't fit in with the others, so she spends her days alone. Her many days alone have encouraged her to explore in the local woods, where she has found many relaxing places. Her favorite is a little grassy opening by a pond, with a tree providing shade. She has met many animals there, including birds who often return when she is around. She feels safest there, and often sings while she draws in her notebook. Annabelle comes here in her times of distress, as it is her own secret place of freedom.
Seeing Color?:
Technically, Annabelle doesn't see color. She perceives it. Annabelle is a synesthese, she connects numbers, letters, and even sounds to certain colors and patterns. Her family doesn't know about her "super power" and she often goes to the woods to dance and sing with the colors of the music. Unfortunately, her talent has downsides. Having synesthesia can give one trouble with math. Many synestheses can't connect the colors of math numbers to the colors of letters, which gives them trouble in algebra along with many other forms of math. Luckily, history and english are easier for Annabelle. The names of dates and people are easier for her because she can simply remember the colors. As for English, she loves to read because of all of the colors that pop in her head. Yet, Annabelle doesn't tell anybody about her abilities. Annabelle thinks she's the only one who can see color, and when she tried to tell her parents they just thought it was "middle child syndrome." Even though she is a twin, August is so dependent on Tori and Bella that he is treated like more of a kid than she is. They think she just wants attention, little do they know it's more than they think.

Relationships:
Tori aka "Mama"
Annabelle is closest with Tori. She inherited her passion for music, and they can often be seen humming the same tune without either of them knowing! Tori was the one who spends the most time with her, so she naturally is closer to her. Tori and Annabelle are also very forgiving, so Annabelle often goes to her when something is wrong.
Bella aka "Mom"
Annabelle and Bella have a relationship that is almost always in peril. The two are so similar, that they always get in each others way. The biggest difference is that Annabelle hates getting punished, and she's much more emotional. Tori has noticed that Bella tends to be a bit softer with the little girl, and that just like her mom, Annabelle will do anything to protect her family and friends.
Anya aka "Her names already so short she doesn't NEED a nick name Mama!"
The relationship between Anya and Annabelle is very unique. They could ignore each other for days, alone in their own worlds of music and art, until Wesley tries to drags Anya into trouble. Annabelle becomes the excuse, "Annabelle needs someone to take care of her" or "I'm taking Annabelle to a friends!". This usually results in a day at the mall watching movies and drinking cherry slushies, much more fun than getting in trouble with Wesley or August. Finally, Anya and Annabelle would do anything for each other, but they would never admit it.
Wesley aka "Wes" or "Idiot"
Annabelle and Wesley aren't super close, but they don't hate each other. They don't have anything in common, and they don't disagree on much. Although, the wild dreams and adventures of Wesley amuse the young girl, she isn't included in on the plans because everyone in the family knows she is more of an introvert. Oh, and she is known so scream "SHUT UP WESLEY!" When he is especially annoying. this is mostly when he makes snarky comments when she watches her favorite show, Star Trek the Next Gen. or when she is enjoying a nice cup of earl grey, hot.
August aka "Auggie"
The twins are pretty close, though they aren't attached at the hip anymore. They are still pretty caring about each other though, because Annabelle always tries to make him feel important. Even when he feels self conscious, she helps him by giving him little compliments. Anya has told Annabelle that she shouldn't be as close to her twin because he'll be to dependent on others when he grows up, but she just rolls her eyes and continues being her brothers rock. August loves his sister because he knows she'll always help him when he needs it, and because she lets him be the leader for once.
Gaston aka "Gaston"
Annabelle can't stand Gaston. They don't click, and Annabelle tries to avoid him as much as possible. In her eyes, he is pompous and vain. Annabelle just can't see much in him, but what can she say? I mean, he's Gaston of course!
