Lightning, the manifestation of the gods. Legend has it it was crafted by Athena herself and that any spot the lightning hit was considered sacred. In modern day, this enchantment of tales is long since lost on mortals. However, history is destined to repeat itself and, as Icarus once built wings made of wax and flew too close to the sun, one will repeat trying to reach the heavens. This one, is Shikoba Iplier.

Hi! I wanted to thank everyone who helped me on the journey that was this contest. "I promise, it's just around the corner," the creature ahead of you murmurs quietly, urging you on through the cave corridor. Soon enough the claustrophobic space you'd been confined to for an hour or so opens into a massive space, revealing a medevial -looking door, which the creature promptly trots up to. He begins to enter a complex code into a small box near the side -you don't even bother trying to figure it out, you know him well. It's what he was born to do. A genious thrust into a world that couldn't handle his raw talent, and what people do not understand, they attempt to push it down, make it submit. And that's what they had tried to do to him.

Suddenly, the door cracks open just enough for you and him to dart inside. Beehind the door lay a massive hall, seemingly from a sci-fi movie. Strange technological symbols were scrawled across the light -colored marble walls, and bits of experimental results were lying around, like an inventor's graveyard. Innovative trinkets appear to be in every little nook and cranny, from a tiny robot with a feather duster to the hieroglyphics on the vaulted ceiling that danced like the stars in the hidden night sky. It was amazing that such a stunning place could be hidden under a simple city, only accessible by a manhole cover and enough persistence to walk all the way down. It was almost unreal -like the creature that stood facing you, bits of his body fading off into whatever pixelated dimensions existed.

"Do you... like it?" Asked the creature, brushing his cheek shyly against yours. "I've never brought anyone down here before. I've never trusted anyone enough... well, anyone besides you," he murmers in a disconnected, stuttering voice. That was natural though, he was part electronic, and his voice lagged every so often. He revealed that not every tough boy cover is real -on the streets above he was known as Virus, the demon who could summon a lightning storm or cut off all the lights without moving. You know his real personality, though -Andrew Jackson Ceircut, shy nerd boy with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, who loved technology and science and really hated pineapples.

Andrew leads you up a few steps, into a room he calls his lab. "Stay here for a second," he says, running off to find a trinket to show you. Your mind flashes back to his history, how he was revealed a genious and used by his parents as an income for money and fame. Eventually he was taken by the government for experimentation -that was when the accident happened. Stupid people fooling around with untested theories used him as a lab rat, resulting in their deaths and Andrew being put through the endless torture of being stuck in two dimensions, his young self so confused, so heartbroken. Since then you'd become his only friend after he escaped, and the only one he had ever trusted. He had told you nearly everything about him -from his obsession with Star Wars and foxes to the day he got stuck in a toilet seat.

Andrew bounds back to you, a happy glint in his eyes, holding a small metal cube in his paws. "Poke it," he whispers from behind you. You curiously and tentatively touch the cube and it springs to life, unfolding into a small metallic red panda. You laugh as the animal rolls about, little blue eyes flitting around. Andrew laughs with you, and though it sounds animatronic and robot-y, you know he's really happy. When you look into his eyes you see his gears turning, coming up with endless possibilities to so many problems. He is a true master.

And you wouldn't leave him for the world.

Animal eyes pierced the darkness of an old laboratory . Dark fur hiding it from unwanted eyes . Shock white wings stood out against the cloudy darkness, bright blue markings almost glowing . Feathers lay around the creature as it lied down on its side, strapped down by leather bindings . It could feel the cold metal through its fur as it lay there, pinned to the lab table . As gold irises moved they slowly adjusted to the low light, seeing many tools of scientific and doctoral use . A frantic feeling possessed the dark pelted creature, causing it to struggle . It's writhing helped it not, the leather buckles only seeming to get tighter the more it moved . The feathers puffed up around it, slowly drifting off the table and back to their place beside it . Closing it's eyes once more, the creature fell into an unwanted sleep once more in the cold darkness .

Ｇｅｎｅｒａｌ Ｉｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎ

Named The scientists call it "Experiment 500" when addressing it formally . But when they are speaking directly towards it or are casually talking about it they will call it "Circuit" as a pet name .
Gender 500 has no gender, being nonbinary . Although the scientist find to easier to refer to a living being by using "he/him" pronouns rather than "it" or "they/them" .
Personality After keeping this plumarian under careful observation and through cautious interaction they have found that he is more intelligent than they originally had thought . 500 is very aware of its electrical abilities and uses them when he does not want to be bothered . He seems to always be muttering to himself, a constant static sound coming from his vocal cords . Most of this muttering is too low to understand or to hear most of the time, but tends to have a panicked tone to it . This plumie is very jumpy and is highly paranoid . It jumps at the slightest sound and is constantly backing himself into a corner or looking over his shoulder . He seems to have many phobias, being afraid of things like: stairs, heights, doors, loud noises, flying, rodents, being touched, most bugs, and even the dark . He seems to have schizophrenia and a constant war with himself is going on inside of his head . He always hears voices and sees things that others cannot . This has driven the plumie into insanity, and the scientist have dubbed him clinically insane .
Quirks ➳The scientists have found that when 500 is talking about anything above a low murmuring he talks in riddles and in rhymes, sounding much like the Cheshire cat or a demented Dr. Seuss .
➳Since this plumie is made out of electricity he has a tendency to-uh-glitch at random . He could be drinking water, talking, eating, or doing anything before just, kinda, spazzing out . Although this kind of spazzing causes him to do a computer like thing that breaks up his body and to make him repeat something several times .
➳500 takes a lot of joy in computer puns . The scientists have found that to make this usually darkened plumie smile is to tell them a joke that is computer related . They assume that it's because this plumie is highly computer oriented .
➳This plumie is OBSESSED with American Horror Story . So much so that the scientists have had to dedicate an hour of his day to letting him watch the show . He has finished it several times and if a new episode isn't out by the time his watches all the premade episodes he restarts it .
➳He likes stuffed animals, and several a kept with him in his "room" . The small fluff filled toys give him comfort and feel good on his gums when he chews on them . He calls them his "cloud friends" and often claims that they protect him from the "monsters" .
➳500 loves kids . Of any species . They are the only thing that he finds as crazy as he . Little ones seem to have boundless energy and are filled with so much joy . Being around them will always put a smile on this plumie's face . He loves their curiosity and smiling faces . When he is around them all of his paranoia and insanity seems to escape him .
➳Whenever someone is departing instead of saying "goodbye" like any normal person 500 will say "byte" in a failed attempt of saying "bye" . The scientist figure it's because the word associates with words like "gigabyte" and "megabyte", both being computer words .
