Keylah is fascinated by language. She finds it incredible that there are words that exist in some languages but not in others. She loves finding words that she doesn't know, especially if there is not a translation for them in English. Because of this fascination, Keylah collects words.

Words may sound like a strange thing to collect, and you may wonder how anyone would even go about collecting them, so let me explain. She keeps something that is a cross between a sketchbook and a journal. The pages are blank, but she does not draw. Instead, when she finds a word she loves or does not know, she will find a picture of its definition and paste it in her book. She then decorates the word itself with a pretty font, background, or colors to help her remember the meaning. She sometimes writes the definition also, but only if she feels it will be especially hard to remember. Mostly its just pictures and decorated words in her collection. As it grows, she might split it into separate journals by language, but for now she enjoys having them all in one place.

This is an example of what an entry would look like for the word mångata, which is Swedish for the moons reflection on water and literally translates into moon road.

How curious… Key's of all shapes, sizes, vintage and origin. But Why? if they open no lock why are they relevant. That is exactly why Manic collects them! Because every key was made for a lock, they all have their secrets to what that lock may hold, hide or hinder. Manic was born in a harsher life style then most, he has had to harder and steal to survive, he is not proud of it but picking locks has been his specialty. But for every lock he picks he wished he just had the key…. this is what started his collecting! He collects keys then occupies himself with trying to find the locks that they belong to, its become a game to him with endless mysteries!

Ulysses loves to collect swords! This is because he is a huge history nerd, specifically when it comes to military history and weapons. It all started when he was visiting a museum and discovered a section on medieval England. Swords of various shapes and types lined the walls, and Ulysses fell in love instantly. At that point, he had already known that military history was his favorite area of study, but seeing the swords that day made him even more interested in the history of swords themselves and how they change from region to region or from time period to time period. Right away, he decided that he was going to have his very own collection. And now, he has a huge collection of over 30; with types ranging from longswords to katanas, to even movie prop replicas. He has a designated day for each week where he will go around his house, take down all the swords from their wall mounts, and give them a thorough cleaning. Although, a lot of the swords he has are modern made replicas, as finding actual swords from their time period for sale is almost impossible. He has managed to get only one.
That one sword is his most prized possession. It is an English hanger used by an officer during the Revolutionary War. He was so happy when he found it for sale, but it put a pretty hefty dent in his pocket. Even so, Ulysses would never give up his collection.

Zeke loves nothing more than collecting live fireflies and storing them in jars... The reason why he enjoys collecting them is simply because he is fascinated with the way that they produce light so easily and so well... Zeke is amazed by the fact that something so small and seemingly ordinary can light up so much of an area, and they inspire him to try harder to better himself at everything he does...

The way he looks at it is that if a simple bug thats no larger than a pin top can light up the night in a way unlike any other, then he can strive to be a better person (or plumie) as Well... Zeke collects the fireflies in jars and uses them to light up the dark pathways in the woods around where he lives so that others dont get lost when travelling, though he makes sure to release them every few days so they dont die... He'd feel terrible if that happened x3

"Is there a problem Mrs. Bradbury?" Coulson's mother said, her tail gently flicking back and forth as she sat in the nearly empty first grade classroom.
"Yes. Your son has repeatedly stolen crayons from my classroom, and from other students. He has been asked not to, and lost recess, yet he still hasn't stopped pocketing crayons." The teacher replied, nearly spitting the last words out.
"Coug, why would you do that?" His mother demanded, turning to face her son a few feet away sitting at a desk.
Cougar looked up from his drawing of a space ship, and set down his 'macaroni and cheese' colored crayon.
"I just really love crayons..."

Cougar has loved crayons his entire life. He was known to spend hours and hours drawing pictures with crayons and coloring in coloring books. Coug especially loves the fact that crayons often have funny and cute names, such as Fuzzy Wuzzy, White House, ect. Cougar never wanted to throw used crayons away, and hoarded them for years. When his stash of crayons grew too large Coug started to create art with the crayons, especially melted crayon art. Cougar often goes to used stores like value village and buys old crayons people have donated there, always hoping for some old rare ones. While his hoard- er, "collection" as he calls it is quite large, Cougar has no intention of stopping collecting any time soon.

Germany has been obsessed with dreamcatchers since she got her first one, over 15 years ago.
