I intended it just to supplement a joke between friends, but then I decided to post them to see what would happen.

Okay well maybe next time try something different or hint at a color change possibly? I really liked the color the way it is and that's the whole reason I entered in the first place. Just would've been nice to know is all as I would've saved you time by not entering ^_^

The teke breed description does say,

Phaethon’s Tekes can be any color that horses naturally exhibit. Any possible equine coloring may appear on a Teke.

so you guys weren't really in the dark. ^^;
I wanted to do something that wasn't like what all the adoption centers do and I thought the fake colored tekes were a good idea. Besides, I'm not changing the base from what they are titled as, and the winner gets to basically design it otherwise. I don't think it's too bad of a trade off.
