Where are their parents?;; When she was really young Ellie and her parents went to the beach to enjoy the peaceful weather. What none of them knew was that there was a bad storm blowing in and that it would change their lives forever. It hit while Ellie was walking in the shallow part of the water, causing the waters to become rough and pull her out to sea. You see, although she is a mako, she was never really a strong swimmer. And though her parents tried to go after her to find her, they couldn't reach her. They spent weeks swimming and searching the sea to try and find their daughter, but eventually they gave up and slowly accepted the fact that they had lost their beloved daughter.
After 3 hours of being stranded at sea, Ellie found a piece of drift wood and rested upon it. She soon passed out from exhaustion. Many hours later, she awoke to find herself staring at white sand covered in sea shells. She began walking and calling out for her parents, but received no reply. Cold, wet, and hungry, she sat at the edge of the beach watching the waves softly crash against the sand. She was startled as she heard someone clear their throat and say hello.
When she turned around she was greeted by two Makos, a light tan and cream male with long blonde hair and fin piercings and a brown female with chocolate brown hair topped with a cherry blossom crown and a cherry blossom branch necklace. The female smiled and sat next to Ellie, "Hello there. My name is Nienna and this is my partner Elessar," she smiled at the young Mako, "Are you lost? Where are your parents?"
Sitting there, she thought about the questions. She tried to remember what her mother and father looked like, or what their names were. But all she could remember was her name, flashes of rain and lightning, and then waking up where she is now. Ellie sniffled, and tried not to cry, as she replied, "My name is Eldalote. I don't know where i am or where my parents are... i don't even remember the name of my home town."
Elessar and Nienna shared a look and decided then and there that they would help her. Elessar scooted close to Ellie and attempted to comfort her "How about this, me and Nienna will help you find your home. And if, for some reason, we cannot find your family, then you can stay with us. We have a nice little home that has more than enough room for you, and we live in a lovely neighborhood not too far from a park."
Ellie contemplated it for a while before nodding. She knew that she would get nowhere by herself, so she accepted there help.
Over time they searched and searched, but had no luck in finding her home town or her parents. Ellie knows they are out there somewhere, and that she will one day find them again. She will never give up on her search, but she does consider Nienna and Elessar to be her secondary set of parents. And their house is her home away from home.
