I cannot physically res any harder!
I'm in love with her already.
form coding is currently awful but i'm working on it c;
the bare necessities;;username: SunsetPatches
show name: SL Dýrmætari Hroki / Tari
name: Tari, gets 'Princess' and 'Her Royal Highness'
affectionately (which displeases
Duke, as HRH
believes the title should be his alone!)
why? Tari's name literally means "precious" and
"pride" or "ambition" in Icelandic. What it actually means
is another thing - you can take it to mean that that she
is precious to the stud because of her coat, but also that her
ambitions and drive to succeed is what's precious to her.
It's up to you how you interpret it c:
gender: mare
halter color: Forest green with a strip of brighter green
down the middle and white edging, with white (or
crystalline? uwu) buckles and hardware.

the main extra: personality
Tari is, first and foremost, a perfectionist. More than just having a
knack or preferance for all her ducks to be in a line, this mare
makes it her one and only duty that everything be perfect - from
her coat to her mane to the way the feed buckets are lined up in
her paddock, if something is out of line from the way she sees it
she can't cope. She gives 100% of herself to everything she does
because she knows that, otherwise, she wouldn't be satisfied with
the result.
Tari can be very stubborn and firm about getting
what she wants, and for what she gets to be perfect,
which earned her the nicknames of 'Princess' and
'Her Royal Highness' - this is something she haughtily
pretends to dislike, but Tari actually secretly enjoys
having the pet names.
Her perfectionist nature also makes her a very
competitive little mare, both in-hand and under saddle
- her attitude is 'why compete if you aren't going to
win', and it shows in her all-out style. Even as driven
as she is, she's been known to give up or bow out
rather than fail in front of a crowd, especially in
her younger days of showing.
When being ridden, especially in competition
(Tari reminds her trainers of Violet - SL Fjola - in
her showing days, because as soon as the mare walks
in the ring she flips her 'show' switch and immediately
turns it all on), Tari is hardworking to an extreme -
an imperfect showjumping round upsets her more than
it does her rider, and she strives as hard as she can
for absolute perfection.
But, as driven as she is, the mare is seriously flighty,
and will spook at pretty much everything, especially
when she's fresh out of the field. Her trainers joke that
it's because Tari throws herself into her emotions -
especially fear - just like she throws herself into
everything else: hard.
Tari, quirks wise, can be quite girthy at times, and
has an absolute morbid fear of muddy fields. She does
stand nicely when tied, and has mostly good ground manners,
Tari would do anything for licorice.
