The story of her tattoos:
The desert. The one place that you don't want to
get lost in. Me, having the most unfortunate day,
I got lost in the desert on my vacation to Egypt.
I was going to go and get more supplies until my
list got blown away in the wind, and I ran after
it. I caught it but I didn't know where I was, and
then, a sandstorm. No place to hide, I ducked.
I felt great pain on my skin. but I didn't move
as the sand scratched on me.
Finally it was over, but with a terrible cost.
My fur... was gone. I walked in total sorrow
until I came across a oasis. I stopped to take
a drink of water, and saw my reflection. I
was about to cry until in the water I saw gray
sand in the shallow water. I dipped my paw
in and grabbed some. It was stiff, like ink.
I used my paw to draw a third eye on my fore-
head. I looked at my reflection again and
and smiled. "Different." I whispered.
That night I looked up at the sky and
saw all the different stars and conste-
llations. But then there were bigger
stars, and they weren't even stars.
No, those weren't stars, they were
planets. I looked down at the ink in
the water, and got an idea. I dipped my
paw in the ink and started to draw
the Roman symbols for the planets
on me. I looked back up and saw the
moon, and drew the symbol for it on
my chest. Then I remembered, the
Sun. The final touch. I drew it above
the moon and I was finally done.
I drew them for all the parts of
my personality.
Sun - for my might and beauty
Moon - for my darkness and mystery
Mercury - for my courage and grace
Venus - for my love and affection
Earth - for my friendliness
Mars - for my strength and willpower
Jupiter - for my leadership
Saturn - for my fear and secrecy
Uranus - for my wise mind
Neptune - for my determination
I looked at my reflection once more,
and I smiled. "Different, and beautiful."
I decided to sleep there until I was
ready to find my way back until I
heard car engines behind me. I
was slightly disappointed that it was
time for me to leave the oasis.
"Is anyone out there?" I heard a call
from the car. I stood up and waved.
Even though I was going home, I now
have a story to tell that will never leave.

I wanted to base them off of the symbols for the Roman gods, aka, the planets. Since I wanted to name her after a planet I decided to use the other planets as well, and she reminded me of Venus!

the wings would just go down his shoulder, prolly stop half-way down his arms. the constellations would wrap around his ankles down, facial tattoos would be upside down triangles under his eyes, so the base lines up with the bottom of his eyes. then an arrow down his nose. the rings on his tail would just be.. well two rings |D the ear markings.. im still thinking of. maybe more eyes ? then the paw pads would be random egyptian symbols.. of which i need to find some ||D
one of four:: sa: This symbol means protection. Its origins are uncertain, but it is speculated that it represents either a rolled up herdsman's shelter or a papyrus life-preserver used by ancient egyptian boaters. Either way it is clearly a symbol of protection. From early times the sa plays an important part in jewelry design. It is often used in conjunction with symbols, particularly the ankh, was and djed signs. We often find Taurt, the hippopotamus goddess of childbirth, resting her paw on a standing sa sign; front right paw, dominant paw, first paw to move during taking a step or hitting someone.
second of four:: cancer symbol. born in july; back left paw, scarred leg, paw leaves scratched in the dirt due to claws
third of four:: ankh: Symbol of eternal life. The gods are often seen holding an ankh to someone's lips this is considered to be an offering of "The Breath of Life". The breath you will need in the afterlife; front left paw, second paw to move, first paw to move during running, mostly represents religion.
fourth of four:: winged sun symbol: The Winged Sun symbol represented divinity, royalty and power; back right paw, can balance on this leg more the his left, represents his power mostly
