In a battle between fire and ice, who would win and why?
In the battle of two elements. Mass destruction would sound everywhere, yet neither would win. Fire being destructive, it destroys everything in its path and murders life. However with ice being creative, it resurrects all that was destroyed by fire and creates life. So in the battle, neither would win but equal each others power. However a different element is created that can contain the destructive natures of fire and the creative features of ice. Steam.

Fire burns strong.
Fire would win.
Most people go by fire melting ice and the water from the ice dousing the flame. However, water isn't the best thing to use for dousing a flame. Most of the time, water just makes the fire worse.

Who would win between Fire and Ice?:
Fire, Water, and Ice are all part of the
circle of Elements. In this circle,
each power has a strength and
a weakness, something that can
lift them up and pull them down,
a force that can empower them and
a force that can destroy them.
Water can destroy Fire,
Fire can melt Ice,
and Ice can capture Water.
The Circle continues in perfect balance,
no element more powerful then the next.
The battle could last for many moons and suns.
But the battle you have asked about doesn't
include Water, but only Ice and Fire.
Some would say Ice would win because it
can melt and turn into Water, Fire's weakness
and others say Fire because it can melt Ice.
I think it's Fire. My reason, simple. The battle
is uneven because Fire has the power and Ice
is the only one with weaknesses. While Ice
can turn into Water because of the Fire's warmth,
It wouldn't count because Ice alone is
supposed to go against Fire. If it turns into Water
it will no longer be Ice. I also thought about
different circumstances they would battle in
and in the majority of battles, the only way Ice
would win is by using another Element to help
in the process. So, I think Fire would win.

In a battle between fire and ice, who would win and why?Fiyero's Mind wrote:Logically speaking the chances that fire and ice would naturally meet in combat is unlikely. How often have you seen them actually near one another? Warm and cold meet, but rarely their physical entities come upon one another. The fact that humans believed that to have the ability to meet in battle is extremely illogical and frankly not possible. However, in your silly example it would be ice that would win, for it is not possible to set ice on fire. Go ahead and try it. The fire would not melt the ice unless it was a continuous flamethrower. I guess that in the end it truly depends on who wields them, because otherwise the two would just have a stand off from afar.

*he fails to see the intrigue...
Also a question: Because of the new oekaki form of the adopts and since the full background/designs for the floc are given, does that mean for art we can draw lines and use the transparent version of the design rectangle for coloring in?

In a battle between fire and ice, who would win and why?
If Equinox was to answer this question he would probably think something along the lines of this question not being clear enough to answer as it does not specify how large or small the ice and fire is. For all he knows it could be a massive inferno against a small ice cube (which of course the fire would win) or a whole glacier against a lit match (in which the ice would win.
