Why the name was chosen: Even though the character and equid are of opposing genders, I can see both of them (he and the book's portrayal of Cersei) sharing many, many traits between them, especially the quote featured on the top of the Wiki page. In particular, they are both cold, calculating, and ambitious, with a lack of "political" or social skills. I also chose it because while the character has many temperamental issues and can make very bad decisions (the colored portions), they both do things with good intentions even despite going about it the wrong way (the white).

I honestly can't begin to explain why the name came to mind when I looked at this boy, it couldn't have been his design due to the appearance of Hidalgo in the movie, and I would know how the star of the film looked because two years ago, when we had no cable, that movie was the only thing I would watch. Something about the name from that Mustang just seemed to give off the right feeling when I looked at this WME.

I can see him being a somewhat mischievous and very self confident and adventurous with a rebellious streak. He is very strong both mentally and physically and tends to go his own way, and he will get others to do what he wants them to in order to achieve his goals. He opposes those who are in power and does what he feels he needs to regardless of whether or not he has their approval.

He teaches the main character that the Stormwings are actually not evil and ruthless, and he eventually becomes a very powerful ally and friend of the main character. He teases a lot and is awkward about showing affection, but he's quite sweet. That's how I imagine this WME to be, super aloof with his affection.
