"Soft ground on tough paws, acres of nothing but trees in sight, a gentle breeze in the air, and the morning sun just peeking over the canopy. Today was shaping up to be a great day to start on a new house. Each one took months and months of work as he worked alone but it was all worth it in the end. Usually he was able to build one sound home for those less fortunate in a year. He loved the feeling he got when he saw the looks on the faces of each family as the realized they were being
gifted a new home. It always made the months of work seem worth it in the end. They may not be the biggest or fanciest things but Celest knew they were appreciated none the less.
After each acre of his farm was tore down to supply the wood for the new homes he would first spend a week hand planting each new seed where a tree was taken, a sure was to keep them in endless supply. With a soft sigh of thought the male set down the piece he was currently work on. It was an oddly shaped galaxy mural that was painted on a piece of scrap wood from the previous house. It would make a fine addition to the decor of the new one.
That was another part of his job. Every house he built and gave up always came fully furnished with multiple piece of hand crafted furniture and was stocked with donated appliances."

"Close your tired eyes, relax and then
Count from 1 to 10, and open them.
All these heavy thoughts will try to weigh you down,
But not this time."

What is the border between reality and just a dream?
I can't say I know the answer to that. Because, well, I don't live like one would mostly live.
I'm just a lonely man who lives at the edge of a cliff, that drops down into a vast ocean. Though even despite the fact that I long for company, at night it all vanishes when I close my eyes, drifting off into sleep.
"Way up in the air, you're finally free.
And you can stay up there, right next to me.
All this gravity will try to pull you down,
But not this time.
When the sun goes down and the lights burn out,
Then it's time for you to shine!
Brighter than a shooting star,
So shine no matter where you are!"
It is then there where I am transported each night to a mystical land where everything is in peace and harmony. The sky is a soft purple-blue, reminding me of nights in the summer. The fresh scent of flowers and a gentle breeze bring it altogether. Though the world is dark; dark with no light. My only sole purpose and job, is to bring light to this realm. How? Through star collecting. I feel powerful, tall, as I stretch my paws up to air, swooping down on little twinkling stars before encasing them in little jars to hang around the beautiful forests near the meadow. The villagers love my work, though I keep myself hidden. Something tells me if they knew who I was, it would not be as magical. Like the magic would slip away from the land. I am simply named 'The light keeper' and that is how I wish to be called for as long as I am invited to this realm.
Though when I awake, it is back to the same old, same life. I keep my dreams a secret, kept as a treasured secret in my heart. Why? My dreams are what bring me the most joy, my job is what brings joy to my heart. Though I may not know if my dreams are real, they feel like it to me.
For I am only a lone man, with a lone heart, living by the sea.
"Fill the darkest night with a brilliant light,
'Cause it's time for you to shine!
Brighter than a shooting star,
So shine no matter where you are.. tonight!"

Story about profession[350/350]
I, Maeve, am an astronomer. I find myself mesmerized by what’s beyond the atmosphere of Earth, the stars, the planets, the black holes, you name it. Yet my passion comes with a nasty price, I rarely spend time with loved ones or family. I lead a lonely life by my choice, but there’s a day that I spent with an old friend of mine that I will never forget.
I was alerted by my colleagues that there was to be a meteor shower that night, naturally it was in my best interest to watch it in an open field nearby the observatory. They gave me a teasing eye and told me I needed to bring someone with me, to learn the joys of another’s presence.
I paid no mind to them, but as I walked to my home to gather a few things for the night of camping, I ran into a winged wolf. He was an old friend of mine when I lived with my family, admittedly I was thrilled to see someone who knew me well. We conversed for a good amount of time, and time slipped past my mind. I never noticed that the sun had set and the stars were out until he commented about the lack of lights.
I had shot to my feet in panic, and when he questioned what the issue was, I hurriedly explained it to him. I was about to rush out the door, when I remembered what my colleagues had told me. Sheepishly, I glanced over my shoulder. “Maximus, do you want to come with? It’d be great to have some company.”
He gave a small grin, approaching my side and giving a nod. Together we watched hundreds of meteors speed across the sky, and conversed about many things. Our favorite things, the things we’d do in our childhood, and our current professions. I went back to work the next morning, a rare feeling of satisfaction in my heart and a happy smile on my face.
“Did you find someone to watch the meteors with?” The asked.
“Indeed.” I replied.

“Mkay..” A gradient plummie replied. With a sigh Chime got up from her seat, and padded to the back of the art supply shop. The shop was fairly small, and in the evening such as now the store had few customers. Chime politely dipped her head when she passed by an older lady. She turned down a small isle to the left, that had books stuffed in every little nook and cranny.
“Was she playing a trick on me?” Chime wondered out loud. Half way through the isle she stopped, and heard a faint rustling. For a moment Chime couldn't pin point it, but then a slight rustling in a calligraphy book gave the intruder away. As quietly as possible, she reached out her paw and flipped the book open. As quick as a dragonfly, out flew a golden feather with white stars marking it. Chime stumbled back, her bottom landing on a stack of origami books. The feather zipped up and down in a dance reminding Chime of a hummingbird, before landing on a stack of plain paper. The feather, tip down, began to write.
“A quill!” The plummie purred, forgetting her caution as she walked up next to the dancing feather. The quill wrote, no drew, across the page in graceful sweeping motions. It’s ink first ran yellow, then orange, pink, and finally purple, before going back down the line. Chime was transfixed; where ever the quill moved, her eyes followed. Before Chime even realized what the magical little quill was drawing, it was done. The quill floated up into the air, slower than it’s previous movements, and Chime looked at what it drew.
“It’s me!” Chime exclaimed, pointing a paw at the tiny drawing of herself. The quill buzzed like a bumble bee, and drifted back behind her pure black feathers close to her ears. When her shift was over, Chime left the store, with her little comrade in tow. Gif/pic that reminds you of this plumie:
