A cot in the corner, a dresser full of clothing begging to be cleansed of the stench they inhabit. He scratches the back of his neck and yawns. He stands and the room spins ever so slightly. He pops his back, and he too notices the particular emptiness of his room. He chuckles and to himself he mutters;
"Thank God I can fill A room".

We open into a scene where two friends sit conversing at a quiet pub where one works. TOLSTOY the nonbinary writer is talking to his friend, BENTO, who seems a lot more than a little put off at the conversation.
TOLSTOY: So, tell me again why you do not wish to settle down?
The other turns toward BENTO, expecting a response.
BENTO: I don't need to, I'm fine on my own.
BENTO displays a closed body position. He's not fond of sharing, and his voice seems bitter here.
T: My husband and I are just so happy, (he shakes his head sympathetically.) That's all I want for you!
Out of anger, BENTO doesn't see his friend's reasoning. He's angry, but more so uncomfortable with the situation, wishing the subject had never been brought up. Out of anger, he snaps.
B: (pointed.) Well, maybe I'm not you!
The clamer TOLSTOY is confused, but, he respects boundaries and retracts previous statements and changes the subject quickly.
T: I suppose you're right! To each their own I suppose!
Bento sighs, regretful if anything for reacting poorly.
B: Wanna a drink? It's on me, I mean I'm getting fired tonight anyway!

As if the emotion could escape him or the receiver of those feelings. So, he captures those sweet nothings.
