The series leads her to another world when reading and she would do anything in the world to get lost in the series. Why?: Coraline has captivated Qilin ever since they first saw it. The sheer amount of effort and detail that went into such a large project and into making each of the characters come to life through stop-motion is something out of a dream to them. The plot, though seeming like something from a horror movie to adults (with the dead ghost children that were spirited away), amazes Qilin with the sense of adventure it makes them feel. Coraline is an inspiration to them; her strength and perseverance drew their attention from the first time they saw her on the screen. Though it goes against the moral of the story, it makes Qilin want to find this magical world and brave its dangers, just like Coraline had.

Music is what gives birth to culture, connection, and familiarity, in Aphoria's eyes.

She favors Glory over the others, not only for her colorful scales and shimmery looks, but her sassy attitude and sarcasm, qualities Ava shares with her, being a sharp-tongued big mouth.
