♚ Extra - The ground was furious. Crackling, shaking, rumbling... Delicate innocent plumerians were around us. Each holding each other tightly and carefully, awaiting to arrive at their death place. I looked up at my mother, tears were barely coming and cracking out. She looked worried, my father did as well. I was rolled up in a baby blue blanket, unaware of what we were going through, or where we were going. (68 words)
A crack on wood had been chipped off on one of the top corners in the wooden train box. Which allowed barely everybody to see what was going on in the outside world. Although it was covered in wired barbs, which didn't help at all. A few moments later, the light grew harsh, then dark, then harsh, then dark... The light melody went in the same pattern over and over again, although the darkness started to stop, and the bright harsh light grew, overpowering anything in its path. (78 words)
I then looked up at my mother, I could tell that something was wrong. She broke up into tears, and hugged me tightly. My father tried to comfort her by hugging, but it didn't help much. "He's going to die..." My mother said, and one of her tears fell onto my nose. It tickled, so I licked it. "That's right, if we bring him with us he'll die, along with the rest of us." I'm not exactly sure what happened, although I remember we crossed something, and then bright lights, almost like flashlights came to us. And others running towards us. Almost like we were being arrested. (106 words)
My mother whispered something into my fathers ear, something that I couldn't hear. So my father jumped up towards the wired barb line, and did his best to open it up, almost like the size of me, maybe bigger. My father then jumped down. His paws were harsh and red, a bit bleeding as well. My mother then jumped up to the opened wired barb line, and looked at me in the eyes, smiling. "You have a big future ahead of you, Favian. Thousands of areas to explore." Her eyes gleam with hatred, and hope. "Me and your dad will always love you... You'll be safe away where we're going..." She then gave me a quick kiss goodbye, my father did as well. My mother then threw me the wired barb line, and I landed safely on a patch of grass, unharmed. I squirmed, enough to get out of my blanket. I stood up on all fours, and then sneezed. The scent smelled new to me. Then a shadow appeared, a much bigger one than me. I turned around, ready to run if it was harm. Although it wasn't harm, it was another Plumerian, a much older one than me, and a tad older than my parents. "Who are you, little one?" She said, picking me up and stroking my fur. "F-Favian.." I answered, along with my high pitched baby voice. The lady's eyes were gleaming with love and hope for me. She then looked around. "Your going to die here alone, and I don't see your parent anywhere, why don't you come live with me?" (248 words)
