Once upon a time in midspring, when children's dreams floated sweetly around the world, a small child sat at her window. As she sat there she dreamed of a new beginning. She lived in a valley called "Dreamland", for its ebbing rivers and its rolling hills made it seem a land out of a fairytale. She thought, "Do I really wish to leave this wonderful place?"

She wove herself a pretty flower crown and made a horn out of pebbles, observing herself in the mirror. "Oh," she declared to herself, "I am content with this world. It is a beautiful world with pretty flowers."

A year later, she had grown more unhappy with Dreamland. She made herself another little flower crown and another horn made out of pebbles, and placed it on her head. But the flower crown wilted as the small horn fell into pieces. "Oh," she cried, devastated, "I must leave immediately."

And so it was that Adelind, for that was her name, found herself standing at the border of Dreamland. But when she found herself straying back into the valley, she steeled her will. "Adelind," she said to herself firmly, "you have spent your life in this place and you have not been happy. Go out into the world, where you will find yourself content. You will."

And so the child made another flower crown and made another small horn, and it was with these accessories that she ventured bravely out into the open world.

So this is the internet. Chicken Smoothie. Most humans don't know what happens behind the screen. But I do. Let me tell you Puriscene's story.

She needed one thing. The artist had nearly finished her, but had left before she was completely done.

Perhaps Syra's going to get inspiration... she thought.

Her artist had left the timer running, and not saved her yet so she roamed about the open tabs. She soon found a tab leading to a video of The Last Unicorn song. She stared in awe at the unicorn, galloping through her forest. She didn't dare unmute the video, in case the artist heard. Eventually the video finished, and the unicorn leapt out at her.

I am assuming you will be based off me, no? she asked gently.

Yes, but I am unfinished for now, I'm worried she won't finish me at all. the Plumerian answered shyly.

Hmm, take a shot of my horn. Edit it in any way you like. Unfortunately it won't work like mine. Now, return before the artist finds out.

Syra soon came back, wanting to finish her Oekaki. She gasped at what she saw.
A flower crown. With a horn! It was exactly the right thing to finish her adoptable. She quickly made her post, and got the link from the song. Now all that needed to happen was to be adopted. She waited.

I will call you Puriscene from now on, no matter what your owner names you.

In a dark and silent night, a silver moon aflamed the gloomy forests. And between all the ancient trees, stood a creature that no one had seen in a long time. The fur as silver as the moons glance. Eyes purple as amethysts. A horse, but not as the ones you would expect around. A shining horn showed, she would not be as vulnerable as she might seem.
Behind a very high and old oak, a shy Plumerian hid to watch a beauty she would never see again. Sílriel was the lucky ones name. Unable to move she got caught by a voice as bright and clear as a mountain spring.
"We got little recently. Would you want to help us?"
"How could someone unimportant like me help such an amazing wonder like you?", Síla asked.
"Make them not forget about us", the voice said, and in a shine of silver moon light the unicorn was gone. Only a flower crown remained of where it was before. Sílriel picked it up, and since then, the shy little Plumerian tries her best to help someone she had never met before. At least she herself will never forget about this night. What will at least keep one of them alive.
