What I plan for her; I really do love this girl, whether its the heterochromia or the simplistic design, I just felt a connection with her. I do plan on keeping her and giving her as much love that is humanly possible, along with my other two beans. I have fun developing a character further and always continue to expand on them, whether it be by roleplaying or just writing up some small short little stories to use them by. Roleplaying is a big part of my life honestly, if I am not at school or playing a sport I am either roleplaying or drawing up one of my characters. It's a great pastime as well as a great way to practice my writing skills and develop my character further. If I am not roleplaying, as I said before, I am probably drawing. Drawing is also a great way to develop a character with or without words, although I have a hard time finding a way to express art sometimes I do try different ways. I plan on drawing this girl quite a bit due to her greyscale color it would be easier to draw and color her design in when I want to do a quick sketch if I am bored in school and whatnot.
Will I be active;Although I most likely won't be active on the JBD fanforum, other than ocassionally looking around and maybe posting something every here and there, I'll be active in roleplay with my friends and in real life. I don't always have time to get on the computer and draw digital art, but traditional art will indeed be a yes. Her greyscale design makes it easier for me to get her design on paper, not to mention I can actually color her in. I promise that I will be active with her in my own way, whether it's art or Roleplays, and i will love her forever.
About the name wrote:Steele \s-tee-le\ as a boy's name is pronounced steel. It is of Old English origin, and the meaning of Steele is "like steel". TV character Remington Steele.
I chose the name Steele because i believed that it was fitting for her. Although a more masculine name I believed that it was fitting and it went with what I see her as. Her silver colors matched the name, and although I see her as a female I really connected with the name for her. She seemed like one to be broken, but strong at the same time. One who can withstand just about anything. Someone strong.
Her own world wrote:"I have a world that only i can be, only I can see, the only place I can be the truest me"
Close your eyes and imagine a world. See the warm beach with light blue sands, gentle ocean water lapping as you take in the warmth. Notice the purple/pink waters with tiny green fish like creatures swimming about, unafraid of your presence. A gentle breeze blows through your hair as you glance up to a beautiful purple sky, fading to orange as you see over the horizon. A feeling of peace radiates from this place, the entire world in fact. You enjoy the sight of purple trees, a darker shade the ground. You leave the warm beach, exploring this new world with curiously nipping at you as wonder fills your mind with possibilities for this place.
Steeles world, a place only her she can visit and only she knows of. This is where she retires to for safety, relaxation and happiness. She writes and and all experiences in her little journal, keeping it away from anyone to read. She wishes to remember everything that happens there, and sometimes this is how she sees the real world. Any fear she has is channeled into a character that constantly reappears, she calls him nightmare. A dragon like figure that tries to harm her, capture and engulf little Steele in it. Other creatures, like birds and dogs, are different in her eyes. Steele perceives the world as a mystical place, anything that happened to her in real life commonly being slowly changed to be remembered as something that happened in her world...
Glance over the mountainous area, you climbed the highest one. They are pink in color, instead of being rocky and ridged it was soft to the touch. Odd, bird like creatures flying in a flock. The height didn't scare you, but rather made you feel free. You close your eyes, and once you open them you find yourself in a wide open plain area, odd creatures in which you believe may be horses running free. You glance on the ground, noticing something by your feet. A little mouse like creature stared up at you curiously,,not afraid or nervous to be near you. You studdy it for a few moments, it's beady eyes staring at you intently, it's fuzzy ears like a koalas would be, it's long tail curling around your hand. Suddenly it jumps off your hand and scurries away, as if suddenly afraid of you...
And yet there is that one place in her world in which all things bad come from. A scary, shady place where creatures that are only pure black, as if an outline, but as you will soon discover the variety species she sees as evil all have something in common: they have that black satin cloth. Radiating nothing but pure darkness, these creatures fill her with fear and dread each and every day. All of her stresses, all of her fears and agonies can be seen. She illustrated a picture in her journal, although she would never let us see. The poor girl even has fear in her own world, tainting everything as if it were a disease.
You frown, unsure of where the mouse went. You glance down and start to grow shaky. You feel hollow and frozen, your heart racing faster and faster. The ground grew black at your feet, you fall as it seems softer and throws you off balance. Feeling the substance you seem confused, it felt like cloth. A loud roar from above you makes you shreik, glancing up to see a black dragon with glowing scales. It states right at you and you are paralyzed, anything you've ever feared running involuntarily through your mind. The beast grins, feeding off of that fear and making it stronger. More dark creatures start to show up, from bugs to snakes and spiders, all around you. You wanted to leave now, to escape. You close your eyes tightly, waiting for it to end. Suddenly, you were back to reality. Back to your normal, human life. You stared at the young beans journal, realizing how powerful it was. You shut it and dare not open it again, never wanting to go back.
Family Relationships wrote:Alyssa: A mothers Guidance
Alyssa loves Steele with her whole heart, soul, and mind. Absolutely adores having a daughter. Of course having two boys is amazing, but having a girl just makes her very happy. Unfortunately, Steele doesn't talk very much, and although Alyssa doesn't mind she feels a little bit sealed away in Steeles mind. She tries to take things slow and steady with Steele, especially with Steeles withdrawn personality. She wants her to open up on her own and not force anything. The first things she notices is Steeles black cloth around her muzzle. She doesn't try to think much of it, but can't help but feel like it's holding Steele back. She never does anything to rid of it.
Steele, on the other hand, really does love alyssa as her adoptive mother and can't thank her enough. Unfortunately, fear seems to control her right now. She sees Alyssa as someone to be like when she is older, kind to everyone and very calm and collected. She feels that Alyssa is trying to love her, and she really is. Unfortunately, Steele doesn't know quite how to react to that. Whether Alyssa tries to or not, Steele adores being with her and would do anything for Alyssa, well, almost anything.
Patrick: A fathers Reassurance
Steele loves her adoptive father, his sweet and disarming ways make it hard for even a little bit of hatred to be possible. Although she still shys away from him, she does attempt to make contact with him every once and awhile. Maybe by drawing a picture or something and putting it somewhere she knows he will be is something she commonly does. The two could probably get along if she was willing to open up, but she is a little insecure at the moment. As a teen she would definitely learn to be closer to her father, or just her family in general.
Deylin: The oldest brothers confidence
Deylin sees Steele as an oppurtunity to teach, to help guide ones way through life as he does with Dekoda... And as a way to get girls as well. He adores his sibling but sometimes his flirty nature sometimes takes over and he loves taking Steele and Dekoda to the park. He does do some pretty sweet things, like play pirate or something, and they always end up having fun.
Steele doesn't normally interact with her older brother as much, although she still loves him. When she first came to their home Deylin and Steele never even saw one another, Steele retiring to her room and only coming out when it was time to eat. She does ocassionally come out of hiding when she goes to play with Dekoda, but otherwise that's about it.
Dekoda: A younger brothers curiousity
Adventurous, excitable and very curious, Dekoda is always around Steele even when she wants to be alone. He is the only bean to actually have heard Steeles sweet voice and has gained every ounce of her trust. He drags her out of her room on various adventures, opening up Steeles mind to endless possibilities for things. Acting like a normal kid is what Dekoda loves to see her as, rather than a small orphan, or the weak little 'mute' girl. He sees her true power and can help her unleash it.
Steele adores her younger adoptive brother. Although at first Dekoda followed her around and she was rather scared, the two slowly became inseparable. Dekoda is always following Steele, and she doesn't mind anymore. Steele sees Dekoda as therapy, her mind working and seeing the world differently than others. She loves the little adventures he takes her on, commonly writing them in her journal as if they were real events that actually happened.

About her cloth wrote:Steele likes her black satin cloth around her muzzle, she almost never takes it off. Even when eating, it's loosened enough for where she can open her mouth, but other than that she almost never takes it off.
When she was younger she had very little, no father to help her out- he left when Steele was born. Her mother commonly drank, coming home absolutely drunk and doing some nasty things. She tried her best to keep Steele a secret, giving her the tiniest room possible with little clothes, little food, and the cloth. To keep her quiet she would constantly be hit unconscious, and when she woke up the cloth would be tied tight to hold her mouth shut. Eventually she grew to see the cloth as a friend, as the only thing that she could count on that would be there for her. To her the cloth is like another bean, a two-facedbean. She loves the cloth, but at the same point she fears taking it off, for if she ever dared to even attempt to take it off she would suffer for it. When she was rescued and taken away from the horrid place she called home. To her it's also memories, both good and bad. Memories she loves to remember, but sometimes is trapped inside for so long. She feels that the cloth acts like a cage, and she's the bird inside.

A final word wrote:Thank you so much for the oppurtunity to bring a new character to life and allow me to love. I had a great time making my form for her, I tried my best to show personality and such through writing, although it isn't my best talent. I know that even if I don't win she, or he, will be going to a great home and good luck to everyone trying for this bean.
