History
Belle and her foal were found off of a wild mustang range with a few other mares and a stallion. Belle's sweet personality would soon get her a home, but Prince was a different story. His wild personality often got him in trouble, causing many to overlook the two. He had to go with Belle, but nobody would consider her if he came along. Luckily for the pair, it was love at first sight for the woman who ran the local stable. The woman was torn between adopting them or not, but she decided to take on the challenge. As soon as she got back to the barn, she told some of her friends about the trip. One young rider said, "It sounds like a fairytale come true!" At this point, the woman realized she hadn't chosen names for them yet! The story did almost seem like a fairytale, so they decided to stick with the theme.

Where Did They Get Their Names?
As mentioned above, both mare and foal have fairytale themed names. Belle got her show name from her adoption story, and her barn name comes from the character Belle in Beauty and The Beast. Her calm demeanor and caring personality often are her main traits, but when her foal or another mare is bothering her she is not afraid to stand up for herself, just like the Belle from the story. But Prince is much more complicated. He never trusted any humans as a foal, and he was very aggressive. Many of the boarders called him Beast because of his personality, but his owner could see more. He was never officially named until be opened up and became the benevolent Prince we see today.

A Quick Note to The Artist:
Ohmygoodness... I honestly had no words when I saw this girl. I recently found CWHR, and she is exactly what I want to start my stable with! Mustang, Palomino, AND a paint! A dream come true! Plus, those blue eyes.... Anywho, I truly hope you consider my entry. I would be absolutely honored to have this lovely mare and her foal as members in my herd.

Background on Design: When I entered the two parent's genes into the coat color generator I use there was a 25% chance the foal would be lethal so I used a coin, heads was non lethal and tails was of course lethal, and got heads. I then used a random number generator to pick a color from the non lethal options and got Gold Cream Champagne Roan Dun Tovero. I'm not really savvy with genes and the generator I used didn't have an option for the sooty gene so I'm not sure if it's supposed to pass on or not sorry.
