afternoon activity; Practice makes perfect! During the afternoons, Halo like racing around his paddock at a full gallop increasing his stamina, speed, strength, and zeal. The loves the rhythmic thudding of hooves on dusty ground, and the air whipping past him, as he stretches his neck forward to make sure he doesn't catch the breeze and slow himself down. He has mastered the art of squinting just enough so dust doesn't get in his eyes.

afternoon activity; Every day, without fail, Halo crosses his paddock and climbs a small grassy rise to stand at the top. From here he can see, in one direction, rolling hills and mossy rock formations. In another, he can see the stables, arenas and his many friends grazing and frolicking. But the thing he is looking for is in the opposite direction. Looking north-west, he can see the ocean, a vast expanse of limitless depth, as old as time itself. At this time of the day, the sun is just low enough to kiss the sea, and fiery colours dance and shimmer across the surface of the water. Halo watches, and waits, feeling a pull towards the distant ocean, for this is the way he has come, and the way he will never return. He watches and waits, for something unknown.

afternoon activity; Since retirement, Sunny's Halo enjoys the simple pleasures in life. You can often find him strolling around idle in the large pasture he calls home, but his favorite thing above all is to beg for attention as he stands at the fence. Rubbing his large head against human's shoulders and backs for attention, he is restless until his need is filled. Even if this means having to escape the pasture in order to trail after them.

Turner's favorite afternoon activity is heading over to the large willow tree in his pasture, and laying down under it for a nap. He hates the heat of the day and this gives him a chance to rest in the shade and enjoy a nice dream or two. He wakes from his nap when he knows its time to eat and heads straight to the gate, wait in patiently until a stable hand comes out to take him to the barn to eat. Turner loves to have things structured and this little daily routine gives him a sort of happiness and satisfaction that only the small things in life can

Sometimes he will watch the foals play around in the pasture but most days he just likes to be alone. He hates being asked all the questions that come with being famous and alone he doesn't have that. Which is why in the afternoons his activities are just "me time"

afternoon activity; Clarion actually likes to sit back and relax. He does like to make his periodic and leisurely laps around the pasture, but his racing days are over. Clarion enjoys resting and lounging under the shade of the trees that dot the pasture. This, and he also likes to add food to his resting period. When he sees someone, he will advance to the fence as fast as possible and beg for food with his irresistible expressions.
