why are they best friends?: Brynja's bossy and assertive manner (although some would assume that it would dwarf the meeker, more 'sensible' Amourinn) is what brought the two tolters together in the first place. Rinn, being painfully shy around new tolters and in new situations, arrived at Invergowrie when he was young to run with their yearlings (as the two studs did quite often*). The colt stood there, knees locked and ears pinned, observing all the too-new details with rolling eyes - but Brynja trotted straight up to Rinn, introduced herself brightly, and showed the new colt around. The two have been fast friends ever since.
