General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Personality Haiku: I dance in the rain,
Though it soaks through my mane,
But it never bothers me.

Quirk: She is obsessed with stealing human clothing for herself, even though she can only wear a few things like hats. Beanies and berets are her favorite, and she always needs new ones, since her horn wears them out.

Nyx tends to randomly nibble on things. If there is something that is not grass or stuff, she will nibble on it. The most common thing she will nibble on is other chrysaora's manes or tails. She annoys them because of these.

Quirk: Deno comes from a harsh background with an irresponsible sire and dam that rarely spared him a glance, making most of his foal-hood solo. Though many would pity his lonely rearing, he admired it. It gave him time to think, for his personality to develop without the influence or criticism of others to taint his features.
Deno is a real sweet-pie and generally quite quite. He minds his own business and easily bends to the needs of others. He's gentle and innocent, and others almost treat him like the pet in the tough herd. No one can stand to see such a kind soul upset, and Deno deflates when someone is mad at him.
Though he comes from a darker background and may seem to be the silent type that absorbs secrets to manipulate others, that's not who he is at all. Even if someone was a hair away from him, he would never snoop in on their conversation. He keeps his mouth shut and gives generous space, and is often the odd one out in the group of chatty Chrys. But if you take a moment to sit with him and have some patience, you can find that you really enjoy his company.
