DAPPLE ARMY
for this boy, I want you to write me a short story about him. It can be about anything, so long as he's involvedMeddFinn wrote:username: meddfinn

shorty story: The starting gun fired, echoing across the plains, ringing among the worked-up horses ears. Within a split second, a chorus of pounding hooves followed, thundering across the track in harmony to begin with. Seconds into the first leg and the faster of the horses became obvious, gaining yards distance in front of their rivals, once allies. Breaking through the rest with a confident stride, the dappled blur of a sooty buckskin took the lead. A wary rider smirked at the competition in dismissal, they knew this race was theirs from the start. Now many strides ahead up came the final hedge vault, the decider of the race. Pushing powerfully off his back legs, the stallion tucked his front legs in and landed confidently, rider sharing his confidence. A heroic photo finish and the sweat, tension, adrenaline rush and hard work was all over. They were victorious.

The names I'm using were chosen by the stream. c:
username: Flurry, the owner of six Tolters.
show name: A Baised Confession
name: Caine
gender: As he must be, a stallion.
halter color: White with an eye-colour-blue rope pattern running down the cheekstrap.
shorty story: The colossal stallion swept his hooves up in front of him, his eyes trained on the barrel, that was rushing ever closer towards him. His rider gave his left side a light nudge, and the buckskin turned smoothly, almost liquidly, around the nailed wooden barrel, it's thick oak slats curved on a perfect angle. His electric blue eyes darted to his next target - a large, white jump. The final challenge in his competition. She galloped closer to it, on muscled legs, and vaulted his heavy body easily over the jump, his rider rising into a two-point, giving him all of the flexibility he could have needed to clear the white, posted structure. His rider slowed the sooty stallion into a slow canter, and then in another downward transition, until he was halted, a proud gleam in him and his riders eyes. Most of the other horses had shied from such a high jump, or hit their legs on the bars, causing them to trip, and their riders to fly to the dusty, soft ground. The buckskin's gaze blinked fiercely, daring anyone to make a noise, other than the constant cheering. He stretched his legs out, and nickered up at his rider, swiveling his ears to listen to the illegible gibberish of the riders. He didn't understand why they didn't just neigh and whinny like normal things.
It was a few hours later, and the sooty stallion was inside of his trailer - one meant for two horses, that his owner had opened up into one large space, two times the size of his stall, that he resided in when travelling from stable to competition. The sun slittered against the metal framed walls, sending glowing rays of light glaring into his sensitive eyes. When they finally reached the stable, the stallion was greeted by welcoming neighs, and happy nickers, as his stable-mates said a hello to him, after he had been away for two days, competing in - and winning - the nationals. His stall name plate read 'Caine', but the crowds of fans knew him as 'A Baised Confession'. The wooden slats on his stall door were clean and shiny next to the splintering ones of his neighbors. His lock was oiled and polished, unlike the squeaky and stiff ones of his friends. And with the most unique difference of all, his stall glittered with so many blue ribbons, that from the entrance of the barn, it looked like his stall had been painted royal blue. He proudly paraded in,his white and blue pattered halter sitting unstained on his well groomed face. His coat glimmered, and was as stainless as the sunset. The dappled buckskin's sooty fur neraly blended perfectly with the floor of his stable, camouflaging him well.
