Name: Akane (Briliant Red)
Gender: Female
Why/How fate was broken: Akane was a very strong believer of the red string of fate. She believed that one day she would find her love by following the invisible thread. She was often in her room researching about the red string of fate. Akane's parents however didn't approve of her hermit like behavior. Most of the time Akane spent hours upon hours researching instead of going outside. Her parents got so fed up with her all night stands that they decided to kick her out. Akane was heart broken, she left with a small bag strapped to her bag. It's contents contained various foods and drinks, but Akane also packed something special. A ball of red thread. Once she left Akane never turned back. She walked and walked and soon found herself on the streets. She was starved, begging for food and money. Just when she thought her life was over a fellow Belldandy stopped by her box of a home and asked if she needed help. Akane gladly accepted the strangers help. What did she have to loose? The only thing she had left was a small bit of string. The Belldandy led her to his home and nurtured her. He was a gentle Dee and treated Akane like they were equals even though it was obvious they were polar opposites. He was a intelligent Dee, his suit and slicked back hair gave off the vibe of a business man. Akane was a boxed in and shy Dee who sometimes couldn't look him in the eye without blushing out of embarrassment. When Akane was healthy and had the capability of going out on her own again the intelligent and caring Dee stopped and asked her if she would like to live with him for now on. Akane had already seen how nice this Dee was and her options of living on the streets was outnumbered. After accepting his offer The Dee introduced himself as 'Jasper'. Since then they've lived together and Akane had developed feelings for him. Akane walked by Jasper's side as they went out together to get a few things. As they walked over a sidewalk Akane dropped something from her bag that she took with her everywhere she went. The ball of red thread bounced out and began rolling down the street. Jasper hurried to grab it and something that still haunts Akane to this day happened. Before she could even scream a car came rushing by and hit Jasper killing him on impact. The red thread tangled Akane as she tried to help Jasper in a sobbing mess. Since that day Akane had believed that her string of fate had been severed in two, so she kept herself in that tangled mess of red strings making herself believe that Jasper would come back.
