Alper; In Turkish, "Alp" means "Stouthearted", "Brave", "Chivalrous", "Daredevil", "Valorous", and/or "Gallant". The second, er means soldier or male.

She flies through the air and she can almost believe she has wings. If she closes her eyes, fades away the bright circus lights and the slim bar of the trapeze in the distance, it feels like she's weightless.
She chases this feeling every time she steps into the ring, every time she taunts death or tells them she doesn't really need a net. She's addicted to it and she doesn't care. No one has to understand it but her, though the other circus performers, the ones who taunt tigers and breathe fire, they understand, she knows that. They just chase a different feeling, power perhaps, she's never asked and they never say.

Honestly, she knows that she half hopes she falls every time she jumps. The gasp of the crowd is so addicting to her, and she's obviously never died before. She can picture herself grinning as she falls like the broken angel she is, and maybe the net will catch her if it's there, the performance is so boring if they leave it where it is.
The ring master gives her odd looks whenever she falls in practice, where they always have the net, as if he's afraid she's losing her touch. Heaven forbid the circus lose Alper, the star attraction.
Funny, she's sure her parents would be turning in their graves if they'd seen what she'd done with her life.

Alper, they called her. She knows they wanted a son, and she was happy to give that to them. She was happy to meet all their exceptions, and she's not sorry she did. She made them happy in the end, and she pretends she's made her peace with that.
Every time she steps up to the trapeze though, she thinks of them and hopes they're proud of the legacy she has continued.
All that's left to do is fall.

Light forces it's way through the fog as a very small plumerians is hushed out of a van with a flashlight between his paws. The fear in his eyes is easy to see, though he tries to put up a brave front. The van slams shut leaving the small Plumie alone with nothing but the clothes on his back, and the flashlight in his hands.
When the van is out of sight, the child curls up, trying not to cry.
After a few minutes of shaking sobs, the child stands up. The fear is still in his eyes, but along with a determined look. Clutching the flashlight, he says "My name is Lewis Arcane, and I will survive!"

The delicate spirals were thoughtfully drawn onto the arm of the customer, backwards letters were placed silently among them, the intricacy of the tattoo was nothing he had ever seen, If anything it was the most beautifully done Tattoo Lewis had ever seen.

"What is the issues?" he asked, wondering what was wrong.
"Nothing is the issue, I would like another one on my other arm." The demanding tone of the customer showed Lewis he was worried about time.
"Why do you want another?" Lewis simply hated recreating tattoos of other artists, it was like taking something beautiful and trashing it, the thought made him sick to his stomach.
"Because I really like it." The customer sniffed, "And my name is Mr. Park."
"Mr. Park, I am not skilled enough to re-create such an intricate design."
"Well, then write the name it says."
"I really can't sir, there is a number of names on this."
"It's my family tree, please just do it." Mr. Parker sounded urgent.
"I will try."

After an hour it was completed, Mr. Parker left disgruntled, he must've not imagined that Tattoos take time to complete.
Lewis fell back into his chair, eyes watering. "Imagine that." He muttered, "Finding your relatives after so long."

As a child, Lewis was abandoned by his parents due to financial issues. He wasn't abandoned at an orphanage, instead three states away in the wilderness with nothing but a flashlight and the clothes on his back. After running about for three days, Lewis began to feel the effects of dehydration and hunger. He was taken in by a kind couple, who nursed him back to health, and then abandoned him, again.

The adopt, heal, and then abandon process went on for almost eight years, until Lewis was thirteen. By then, he wouldn't let anyone talk to him, or get to know him, or even sit next to him. Naturally thirteen years old need strong loving parents and families to guide them, but by now, Lewis cared nothing for anyone who tried to reach out to him. He had been self-taught his whole life, and had never had a friend.

When Marcus reached adulthood, his life had changed, not necessarily for the better. Years of hurt and rejection were being slowly washed away by therapy, but not in any time soon would the panic attacks cease. Lewis was hired at 'Marcus's Skin Art' when he expressed interest in the art of Tattoos.
To this day he word at MSA hoping to achieve his dream of opening his own shop.

Meet Zia
He is a known on the outside to be calm, though not very down-to-earth
Why? Zia Todd has a mild disorder that severely affects his life, both good and bad.
He has a very mild case of schizophrenia. He is not violent or harsh, but instead, a bit out of it.
Often he is known to space out in the middle of conversations or events, and miss most of what is said.
The world of his mind is so much different than that around him....where more see a photograph, he sees and adventure.
Where most see a conversation, he sees a risk, a chance- something he could never imagine.
His mind flourishes in so many colors, lights, and sounds- all in memories he has never lived.
Each and every day, his mind wanders a new directions, a blessing and a curse.
He sees so much possibility, so much chance for the future, in ways he cannot comprehend that others do not see.
Yet, at the same time, his mind lives in the clouds.
He often cannot see what is right in front of him, as his mind is so far away, on the distant shores of some other reality.
He sees the world in a different light to the point that he often cannot solve simple problems as his mind will not bend that way.
He has a difficult time distinguishing memories from imagination in this sense- he cannot sense what is real.
Often he is thought of as odd for this...and it is not wrong.
Still, he tries his best every single day to make the best of it.

Zia Todd is spacy, and known for his oddness. Over the years, this had made him quieter than most, unwilling to speak out, as who knows what other's with think of his odd mind? He tends to distance himself, run away out of fear of judgement. However, this does not stop him from opening up. When Zia meets someone, he tends to almost obsess over them in thankfulness for their very existance and friendship. If someone is willing to put up with this, they will become the best of friends- he is willing to get very close and share his secrets. He will care for one and protect them to the end of their days.
In social situations, he is much more shy than outgoing. He is often forces into submission in his own shyness, trying to protect himself. His is often an incorrect path, yet he tries all the same. He has a hard time standing up for himself.

I enter the small shop, holding me smile even now. It is as if I can feels the stares, watching me like crows on a wire. The judgement manifests like a curse, holding me still for a moment in the threshold. That is before I stop myself. I know at the moment that, in reality, the only one there who will judge is myself.
My smile stays even now, and I take another step, it is a mountain. It is a desert. An adventure. I see nothing odd, nothing that is out of place in the world except myself. Yet I am here, and this is difficult. But not so much that I can stop.
I push a bit further, step into the line. It is time to wait, but first I must know. What do I want? What do I ever want? What have I wanted. I pause, and my mind leaves. When I was young, I wanted a model. A model volcano. It was all I seemed to need. I never got one...I almost did, but I got into trouble. I shouldn't have done that. If I hadn't, maybe I would have grown to love volcanoes so much more. Maybe I'd want to study them more. My life could be different.
I pause. That was it, my mind going; I see a few stares. I zoned out again, the cashier is calling for me. Her stare is questioning, wondering what is wrong. I have to make a decision now, make my choice. I have to go with something warm. If I don't, on a blustery day like this, I could freeze.
It feels like there is a lump in my throat as I order, but isn't that just a figure of speech? Nervously, I watch the confused cashier fill my order. I have to watch her carefully. What if she does something wrong? Then I would have to come back, as for something else. Another social encounter. That would be bad. Gladly, I see she makes no mistakes, I am safe.
I take the warm cup she hands me, so glad for it's comfort, so much I almost forget to hand her the money. She will think I'm a crook now, won't she? I dig out the money to hand to her, and she smiles. I smile back, say thank you. Maybe I didn't embarrass myself after all.
The comforting smell of tea washes over me, and I am calm. I find a seat by the window, watch the city outside the window. As other's pass by, I imagine their stories, their fears, their joys. This one was a banker who lost his money in a bank crash. That one has scales Mount Everest. The smile child by that one's side will one day discover a cure for cancer. I see these possibilities so clearly, so gladly, like a new peace. I love it all, this imagination.
I know every time I walk into a store, the small coffee shop may be so much stress. Yet, at the same time...I love it so.
My mind wanders, and I allow it.

along with his family.they have always been the ones to
discourage him on his dream. it was the reason why he
had left his family at a young age. but he still lives by

I will win. Vermello has a strong love for competing, he always has to be the star. He has trained so hard to be able to get on the top. but the feeling of releasing the bow and hitting the target in front of the crowd daunting eyes bets everything he could imagine. Everything he has lost in life seems to wash away at that one moment. This feeling he gets is like his own drug.

personality; birch isn't as much as a "punk rocker" as you would've thought. Instead he is
rather reserved, preferring to keep to himself. The only meaning behind that mohawk is

Anyways, birch does have a certain curiosity to him. He really enjoys wandering about
to different places, and learning things that he never knew before. This curiosity is kept
under close watch, and with the right amount of self-discipline, he can keep it under
control. As for flaws in his attitude, birch isn't very sympathetic; believing that the
cold hard truth is better than having things sugar-coated for him and others. Often
enough this wards others away, and they have second thoughts on making friends
with him. birch doesn't mind, in fact, sometimes he enjoys the solitude.

hobbies; birch dabbles in nature photography; his favourite subject being when he is
able to take snapshots of trees. [hence the name] He tends to stick to things just in
nature, and has never taken a photo at the zoo or in a close enclosure. He also likes

schooling will pull him into a job, but the subject in itself is pretty interesting. It
keeps things in his life a little more interesting.

dislikes; cartoons, drama films, the concept of certain magics, loudness, the city, volcanoes, faux fur, and some other things.

fears; birch has an immense fear of cemeteries, which would be considered a minor case of coimetrophobia. Other than that he doesn't show signs of anything else other than a minor fear of fire.

posture; birch walks in a confident manner, although if he were to rear up on his hind
legs, he has a slight slump. That's mainly from sitting down hunched over for a long
period of time. He tends to keep his gaze straight ahead, unless he needs to turn
and apologize for bumping into someone.

voice; birch's voice is extremely deep and maybe even sexy, yet really soft at the
same time. he doesn't speak in a loud demeanor, and certainly doesn't like to yell
at anyone. at times his voice comes off as a little "dead", meaning that he doesn't
show much emotions through his tone of voice.

love interest[s] & love life; he hasn't really had anyone catch his eye. if you were
to ask him, birch would only say that he was surrounded by other normal plumies;
and none had really popped out yet. as for a love life... he has none. birch prefers
to stay inside or out in a remote area where people won't see him. although, he's
trying to make an effort to put himself out there, having deemed it's not healthy
for him to constantly be without companionship.

A rather odd character, Tairad is perhaps most renowned for his choice to legally change his middle name to trouble; a decision that perhaps speaks more to his personality than any amount of words.
