Why do you want to adopt her? Connecting to a bean is much more then just adoring the design - which I must admit, I do - it's being able to connect to the bean emotionally, and developing a love for it as you create it's personality. I'd love to be able to have a chance to create a bean that I could strongly relate to, and as I build this form, I can only imagine that I will grow more attached to her character. Not only would I like to adopt her to develop a bean I would cherish; it would contribute to developing the potential adoptive father, Darcy, even more. He was my first bean, and much like this girl, I connected with his design and later, his personality. He has easily become a character that I absolutely adore, and I always shower him with art, and even though Darcy and I are nearly nothing alike, I can relate to his character really well and he always seems to make me smile, whether it be a weird drawing I draw or his respond to a certain situation in a roleplay. It would simply be amazing to have these sort of moments with this lil' girl!

The forest paths, was usually busy, there were always rabbits, squirrels and other woodland creatures rushing back and forth as they searched for something to nibble on, and in the distance there would often be one or two deers grazing on the dew covered grass. But this morning, Darcy noted that it was oddly silent. As if all the creatures had just been spooked and ran for cover. After pondering on it for a few moments, he brushed it off, placing his headphones over his ears and pressing play.
This morning, didn't feel any different to Darcy. It felt just like any normal morning. He'd awake, get ready, go for a quick stroll through the forest near his home before heading off to work. He wasn't expecting anything different to happen, perhaps he'd go meet up with a few friends or even just go to that tiny house deeper in the forest to begin working on his new song.
As the next verse of the song started, he began to sing along, knowing that no one would hear; not that he was bothered by the fact that anyone could overhear him. So when he caught sight of a rustling bush, he paused. No one ever wandered into the forest - aside from him of course - they were all too scared of the possible threat that lurked within the shadows. After a moment, he passed it off as a rabbit and continued on his path.
Just as building started coming into view through the line of trees, he caught sight of another rustling bush along with a flash of pink. Now, he definitely knew it wasn't a rabbit. He frowned, and muttered underneath his breath. "What sort of wild rabbit is pink?" Darcy pulled his headphones off his head, leaving them hanging around his neck as he padded forward. He stopped in front of the push and opened his mouth to call whoever was hidden out, but before he could utter a single word a pink head popped out of the green leaves.
Startled, he yelped and jumped back. He bent over slightly, his hands on his knees as he shook his head and chuckled. "Scared the living daylights out of me." He stated, flicking his messy hair out of his eyes as he glanced down at the little girl before him. He then frowned, curious to know why she was alone in the forest. Her clothes were only slightly dirty, so Darcy assumed she hadn't been lost for too long. "You lost?" He questioned, crouching down in front of her.
Shyly, the young girl looked down at her hands and hesitantly held them up, revealing a small slip of paper folded in half. Darcy gently took it from her hands and unfolded, reading the words written upon the paper. Love me. Two simple words that had him frowning. He reread those two words multiple times trying to figure out what it meant, but he could only come to one conclusion.
Darcy folded the paper in half and sliding it into the pocket of his pants. "What's your name sweetie?" He asked, smiling warmly as the little girl sniffled, rubbing her nose. "Arabella." She mumbled, hiding her face behind her hands.
"That's a very pretty name." He responded, reaching forward to brush a strand of her hair out of her face. "Arabella, why were you left here?" He asked, not concerned at all at who left her here. He instead wanted to know why she was left alone in the forest with a simple note that said 'love me'.
Arabella glanced at Darcy through the gap between her fingers, and seemed to hesitate before she answered him. "My daddy said it was for the best. That someone better could care for me." She mumbled, sniffling again as she gazed up at Darcy. "Daddy was very ill, it was too hard to care for me." Arabella added after a few moments, rubbing her tired eyes as she yawned. "Daddy told me to give the note to a friendly bean."
Darcy remained silent the whole time she explained and eventually nodded. "Would you like to come home with me Arabella?" He asked, to which she gave a small, but obviously, eager nod. Darcy rose from his crouch, bending down to pick Arabella up. Immediately she snuggled into him, her small frame curled up against his chest as he began to head home. Darcy was almost certain that his boss was going to ring and complain about Darcy skipping work, but right now, Arabella was his main priority and he wasn't going to let his boss say a single word against her; for Darcy had mentally sworn to care, protect and love the lil' girl he found in the woods.

Awkward;
Meeting new people has always been very difficult for Arabella, not that she doesn't like getting new friends. She's just socially awkward. She begins to jumble up her words, or say things that have no revelation to the current topic. During these awkward times, she will become undeniably clumsy; walking into walls, dropping things and tripping over objects or even her own feet. Much to her embarrassment, Arabella still tends to do awkward things even when she is around people whom she is comfortable with.
Book Worm;
The moment Arabella picks up a book and begins reading, it is almost impossible to stop her. She won't leave her position for anything, with the exception of food and toilet breaks of course. Arabella could pick up a random book of any genre, settle down into a comfortable position and read till the the sun has set. Arabella tends to become too attached to certain fictional characters and can often be heard muttering quotes from novels. Arabella loves it when someone reads a novel to her, and it's now become a habit for her to get Darcy to read a chapter or two of her current novel before she falls asleep.
Nerdy;
Arabella isn't the smartest bean you'll ever meet, she'll often have dumb moments and will question how certain things work. But with large square glasses perched upon her nose, she not only looks nerdy, but acts it too. Arabella knows a range of random facts which she will often state every now and again if she seems to think they her relevant to the current conversation. Her nerdiness also shows through her love for books. After completing the first Harry Potter novel, she purchased a Gryffindor scarf, a fake wand, and a beanie with the quote, 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.' That is how much of a book nerd, or a general nerd, she is.
Sweet;
There isn't a single mean bone in lil' Arabella's body. No matter how irritating someone might be, she can't ever get angry enough to the point where she wants to get them in trouble. She's far too sweet for that, and will easily ignore and avoid any confrontations. Arabella's gentleness makes her easy to get along with, and she tends to shower close friends with compliments and gifts. Honestly, Arabella is far too sweet to even hurt a fly.

Darcy | Adoptive Father
✘ Can be a little over-protective -- ✓ Often sings to calm her
After being taken in by Darcy, she grew very attached to him. It was as if he were a superhero that had come to save her from an evil villain. Well, that's what Arabella thought of him anyway. For a long time, Arabella would follow Darcy, often trending on his tail as she didn't want to stray too far from him. After all, he had been kind enough to give her a home. Arabella quickly grew to think of him as a father instead of a super hero, and eventually started calling him 'daddy'. After some time, she learned to give him space and found that she could fill this free time with books. The pair often express their love for their different hobbies to one another, Arabella about her love for books and Darcy about his success in music. Arabella was quick to find comfort in hearing Darcy sing or play any of the four instruments lingering around the apartment; guitar, piano, violin and drums. Arabella often sits in the same room, curiously watching as Darcy strums his guitar, pauses, writes a few notes and repeats. It's quite interesting watching him in his calm manner as nearly everything else they do is loud and boisterous. The pair often create a mess together, even starting a food fight in a small cafe when Arabella accidentally flicked Darcy with a spoonful of custard. Whilst Arabella still has her awkward moments, she had managed to pick up a few traits from Darcy; making her a little more outgoing then usual. Darcy has even started calling her 'my lil' minion' due to the fact that she is often involved in his troublesome behaviour and pranks. Each day is just never the same with Darcy; the loud and confident adoptive father always planning something different and new for Arabella.
