Valentine is a sweet, optimistic girl who loves plants and animals. Valentine is very sensitive, but always looks on the bright side of things and tries to be happy even when she's sad. Valentine loves having fun and loves to spend time with friends and family, which makes her even happier than she already is! Valentine is a bit of a tomboy, and a nerd. Valentine is very smart and loves her books and cameras!

Mergo- Valentine loves spending time with Mergo. She always begs Mergo for stories of the past, but rarely gets any information. Valentine one day hopes to travel to China with Mergo and study pandas and bamboo. Valentine once received a bamboo flute called an Xiao made of bamboo. She loves it and has learned how to play it wonderfully.
Paisley- Valentine wishes Paisley would be a bit more outgoing. She wants to dance with Paisley, but is disappointed when Paisley is a bit to shy to do so. None the less, Valentine loves Paisley.
Maggie- Maggie is like Valentine's best friend. Valentine takes snapshots of Maggie and draws over them to 'edit.' She puts whatever Maggie wants in the background or on her, and she enjoys doing so. Valentine loves playing tag with her sister and hide and go seek. One time Valentine disappeared for a whole hour until Maggie found her!
Syren- Syren is Valentine's favorite cousin. She loves being updated on the best music and telling him what she thinks. Valentine loves playing her Xiao in front of Syren and exploring the nearby forests with him. She found an old arrowhead in the forest she was exploring with him and created it into a necklace. Valentine hopes to one day hold a concert with Syren and create music with her flute, and have the songs about the explorations they have made. Valentine got into painting her nails when she first met Syren, which she is grateful she did.
Grandma- Valentine loves her grandma! Valentine wishes she could visit her everyday!

Valentines are Valentine's favorite plant. She loves how the match her eyes and she hopes to plant them in her lush egg-crate garden, which is made from egg-crates with soil in there dips.
Bamboo is Valentine's second favorite plant. She loves it's pretty green color, and when she grows up, she wants to preserve the bamboo forests not only to help bamboo, but to save pandas.

A Visit To The Forest
Valentine walked down the forest train, inhaling the scent of fresh blooms. She looked at the hibiscus flower and breathed in calmly, enjoying the sound of tweeting birds. She embraced the nature, and let it's wonderfulness soak in her soul.
She continued walking and saw a stump. She sat on it, and pulled her flute out of her pocket. With her being young, most would expect her to be jumping around. But instead, she pulled out that flute and put it up to her mouth.
She lightly blew and let the sound flow from the tool. Valentine closed her eyes and imagined herself in a fantasy scene, with birds sitting on her and deer prancing around. She imagined the sun with a smile on it's face, and all of the animals singing
a tune. All of a sudden, she opened her eyes, and remembered what she was here for.
She leapt up and put her flute back in it's cozy spot, and ran to the clearing. Just on time!
"Sweetie!" She heard Paisley call. 'Come on, it's getting late!" "I'll be right there, mommy!" Valentine called as she pulled out her camera.
She saw the sun sinking down on the horizon, and waited until the light was just right. She pressed her button, and, snap!, she had the perfect image. "Yesss!" She said, pulling her arms down by her side.
She ran back out of the forest, and turned back one last time. "Goodbye," she whispered as she ran home.
