The contest
Lark was originally going to be based off of Link Larkin from the Musical Hairspray, so for the contest, your goal is to base her personality off of a musical character! But the trick is to make Larkin her own character, not simply a bean version of the musical character. Any sort of character/any gender/ any species is fine, as long as it is from a musical!
You must pick one of the character's songs and explain why it describes Larkin's personality, even if it's only a small aspect of her!

You must have at least three pieces of art (they don't have to be done by you), and all will be going to the winner. There will be no exceptions to this, and no being rude to the winner.

All aspects of the skeleton form must be filled out
Unlimited extras, but all word pieces must be under 800 words each!
Good coding/art is a large bonus, and I will be strongly looking at that.

Why it describes her -

This song can really describe Elphy's personality. She is and ambitious, outgoing dreamer who doesn't care what anybody thinks of her. She doesn't believe that their is a limit to anything that you want to happen no matter how high the goal seems to be, Elphy would always put her all into making it happen. All the goals in her life that she has or will have she knows that she will put everything she has into making it happen. She also knows that everyone is stronger in a group and family means a lot to her and she would do anything for them too. No matter what the odds seem to be against her she will try for what she believes in. Elphaba believes that everyone has a chance to make something of themselves and I really think that this song portrays this well.

Elphaba is a fun loving, carefree and cheerful young bean who always looks on the brighter side
of things. She is very outgoing and ambitious in her interests and hobbies which she has took on.
Elphy would be keen on doing or trying anything new, from trying new foods to to zip lining for the
first time, she's willing to give it all a go! Elphaba really tries to aim as high as she can in everything
she does and is rather intelligent when it comes to her learning and schoolwork. Her dreams and
aspirations really keep her going, these are things that she really cares about and for the age that
she is and in this way could seem rather mature, although she does have a lot of traits you would see
in any 9 year old. You can find that Elphaba is often daydreaming, who knows of what but whatever
is going on, it keeps her happy and quiet.

Family Relationships

Mother // Panelope

Elphaba can always count on her mothers to stand by her and be there for what ever she needs and so, Panelope
is just that. Elphy loves how supportive her mother is and how upbeat and funny she can be, not to mention how big her
family is and how much she loves to go and visit everyone with her!

Mother // Etoile

Etoile also stands by Elphaba just as great as Panelope does, and her and Elphy have an amazing bond. Elphy
loves to talk things over with her mother and knows that if she ever needs reassuring that she will always be there for
her in her times of need.

Twin Sister // Hallie

These two twins get on amazingly and Elphy loves her sister so much that she barely wants to leave her side!
Of corse they have the odd sibling quarrels but it's never anything that can't be resolved and they are usually great friends
again soon after. Elphaba loves to play and spend time with her sister as they have quite a lot in common!

Sister // Enigma

Elphaba can be really over protective of her little sister and will always look after her, probably even after
she has grown into an adult! She loves to play with her and always keep her happy and help out her mothers with some
babysitting if they need a little rest now an again, Elphy is perfectly up to looking after her lil' sis!

Elphaba loves to see her family and so when she does get to visit them on any occasion, she loves to catch up with them and have a little talk. With more distant family she can be a little shy at first until she is more comfortable with everyone but after that she will chat away with anybody. Elphaba prefers to listen to the adults talk rather than joining in with any conversation unless spoken to directly, for some reason she has a small fear of saying something wrong if she doesn't fully understand what exactly they are talking about, adult business is adult business after all.

Elphaba loves to meet up with all her cousins in the family which are close to her age as she would have a lot more in common with them than she would the adults. She loves to talk and play with them and just generally acts like a normal child would with their friends. Naturally Elphy takes on the sort of 'leader' role in thins such as deciding games and things like that as she does tend to be that sort of figure sometimes. With the beans closer to her age it takes no time at all for her to open up and speak her mind to things usually go great with family catch ups!

Ukulele - This might seem like
a strange sort of interest to have but
Elphy actually does quite like it. A
friend of the family had brought it
round one day and let her try it out.
Although she doesn't take any lessons
she would like to learn it someday and
did enjoy playing it.

Travelling - Of course Elphy is
too young to travel many places by
herself, but travelling is something
that Elphaba really would like to do
when she is older. She takes a lot of
interest in other cultures and
languages and simply wants to learn
more about the world.

Singing - Elphy has been singing
from quite a young age and has really
found confidence in her voice. She has
such a lovely sweet singing voice that
her mothers convinced her to take lessons
when she was 7 and she has loved them ever
since.

Writing - Elphaba has always had a
sort of 'flare' when it comes to writing.
She has bundles of title poems and short
stories that she has wrote filled in her
notebooks in her room. She has such a
vivid marination that there is always
something special in what she writes
however short it may be.

You are probably wondering what the difference between the two really are. Hobbies are things that Elphaba has taken interest in much more and for much longer than her interests, although her interests are still things that she takes a lot of interest in, hehehe.

Elphaba has a small variety of things kept in her pouch, first she has has a few clips just in case her or her sister need them for keeping their hair out of the way if they are doing anything sporty or which would have their hair flying about they faces. Elphaba also keeps in a notebook of hers, quite a small one too, which she would use to write or draw in if she was out of the house and got bored, or maybe even to take some notes in school with, this would also mean that she carries around a few pencils and rubbers of course.
