Why Are They Sad? ;; Sadly, he's never been released from his jewel before. He always heard kind voices, but no one even bothered to touch his jewel. Many years have gone by since his creation. Maybe one day, a Sima would be kind to him and give him even just a moment to see the world and be able to talk to something other than himself.

Why Are They Sad? ;; They lost someone important to them and valentines day is a mere reminder of that tragedy. One day he was in love, mates with this beautiful sima ready to marry and the next, her life was taken away in a deadly car wreck.
It was valentines day too, he had taken her out on a nice dinner date. Before the night was over, he had began to drive her home when suddenly a truck sped into them from nowhere. Hitting the side of car. That night, he was left one of the only survivors, at a terrible cost. Since then he's become saddened on this holiday and avoids contact from others, preferring to be alone.
Later on he was eventually 'cursed' to become a genie sima which didn't help matters for Marious. The only wish he would ever want to grant, is to bring his beloved back. But he knows that is impossible for him to do, and has long since given up on that hope.

Why Are They Sad? ;; Lucan is sad because he has such a low power level. All of the other genies are always teasing him for being a mere level one while they flaunt their superior powers. They think he is a useless genie just because the only thing he can do is grant others money, nobody else seems to think it's an interesting or useful power but Lucan. He loved his power as a kit and the shiny coins would always make him smile. Now however all he can do is wish that somehow his power would increase so that the other genie would like him.

Why Are They Sad? ;; Because they were in love with a guy who didn't really seem all that interested sadly, but then the next day found out their best friend went behind their back and fell in with the guy and now they are happily in love and she was left behind. She hasn't spoken to her best friend since it hurts to much to try and talk and they always end up feeling betrayed and hurt. She always sounds very bitter at the mention of it.

Why Are They Sad? ;; You see, he had this huge crush on a girl. No no, not just a crush, but he loved her. Truly loved her. They were friends, and they were rather close. Best friends, even. They told each other everything. They spilled their feelings and emotions to each other whenever they needed to. They were the closest friends could get, and Dave had started to develop feelings for her. One day, he mustered up all the courage he could to tell her how much he liked her. She rejected. She didn't like him back. Little did she know he loved her, an emotion far more stronger than just a simple "crush". He died a little inside. That was the love of his life, and she rejected him. He was so crushed, still is, as a matter of fact. He tries to get over her, but he just can't. That's why he is always sad all the time.

Winner! The name and reason combo was somehow hilarious to me, and I think Lucan will be an interesting sima- to say the least. I really loved quite a couple entries though, so I look forward to seeing you enter in more genies! I'll be releasing more later, so keep an eye peeled!
