Name Meaning: [Spoilers ?] In the game Portal and Portal 2 there is a character named Caroline, whom is turned into an immortal robot that goes by the acronyms GLaDOS. Caroline was the assistant to Cave Johnson, a scientist who worked in Aperture Science. GLaDOS was seemingly the bad guy for a very long time in the game, but towards the end of Portal 2 she turns her ways towards Chell, but it is still a love-hate relationship; she watched Chell grow up, which is why she never killed her; because she had sympathy for her. This backstory plays into Caroline's personality as well as her backstory all the same.
