What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

Username // hello hello, my name is minke! I currently own
one makoatl named China and I'm hoping to get this wonderful
guy~ anyway, enough about me and onto the Mako now!

Makoatl Name // I've decided that I'd like to name this boy
Akagi, which is taken from Anghel's real name 'Akagi Yoshio'.
Not to mention the name Akagi means one of many things ;
赤城 - red castle, 赤木 - red tree, 赤き - crimson, 赤来 - red future

Gender // Akagi is cis male

Personality // At a first glance, you'd assume Akagi isn't the most
sociable of creatures and you wouldn't be wrong in thinking so.
He doesn't have the best social skills in the world and therefor
tends not to use them, avoiding other Mako's as best he can. He'd
rather lie and cheat his way through life rather than make friends
and he's very stubborn about the fact that this is what he'll do. Due
to this quiet and secretive behaviour however, some have taken a
liking to his mysterious aura, much to Akagi's annoyance.

Brief Background // Akagi didn't have the easiest time
growing. He lived with his mother and was raised in the
rougher area of town for the majority of his life. He'd
learnt very quickly to never take anything for granted
and this is how his skill in being sneaky developed, as
he got into the habit of pickpocketing extra change off
of others to help him and his mother get by.

He'd never had any issues with fire as it had kept him
warm on many a cold night, but when he came home
to a burning house his opinion quickly changed. Akagi's
first reaction was to rush in and find his mother, resulting
in the injury to his left eye, which he now keeps covered at
all times, as well as the one on his chest. All he managed to
find however was his mothers' necklaces, the very two that
he can always be seen wearing.

After that incident he decided to run away from the
small town he'd grown up in - it was time to move on,
to somewhere much, much better.

Personality: Luce is a rather mean spirited person but he really doesn't want to be. He grew up always around cruel, and sketchy individuals. Their influence rubbed off on him to make him the guy he is today. He speaks his mind and will fight for his beliefs to the death. He is a hard nut to crack but once he trusts you he is very protective. Luce is definitely not a compassionate guy and has troubles showing his emotions, always coming off as angry or irritated.
History: Grew up in a gang, ever since he can remember he's been with them. His father was the leader of this group of thugs and would always drag Luce along with them. When he was little he didn't get that the things he was doing was bad but once he wised up he tried to leave. They wouldn't let him and threatened to kill him if he did, so of course he stayed. But one day he couldn't take it anymore and began to pack, planning on sneaking away at night. Someone caught him and a big outburst broke out. His own father attacked him, injuring him very badly and leaving him to die. He was found by Azul in very bad condition. She took him in and nursed him back to health, letting him stay in her apartment until he could take care of himself. He now lives on the streets, taking any job he find.

Personality Anghel is a very quite soul and goes wherever the wind takes him, a wanderer if you must.He doesn't care for much social reaction but when he does he dives into it as if you've known each other for years. Even with the odd contradictory traits Anghel is the most skyward Mako you will ever meet but at the same time the most down to earth and clearly very contradictory even though he tries to hid it.
