I just noticed that it says customs cannot breed. Will they never be able to or is it just a temporary thing?

It honestly depends.
I just do not want certain custom attributes to be passed down.
We shall see.

For example, I just made this custom:


I do not want the collar and other custom designs passed down.

The pups would have to look much different from the custom parents.
And since most customs will have wings, it then changes the rarity percentages of the AM population...

And it also enables people to breed for custom newborns, which is not something I want to happen.

I see, that's kind of depressing though seeing as I mainly wanted mine as a mate for Estelle. Maybe you could do something like using a random number generator to see if the pup gets wings and count stuff like collars as an item. That way it would help with the rarity situation.

Sorry... I would be willing to judge it on a case-by-case basis, though I know that poeple would not like me accepting some and turning down others.

It is more that some will want to make customs of their fursonas, and those I would like to not be bred.

If you want a custom as a mate, as in your case, I would probably be okay with that...
I will definitely make babies with wings extremely rare, either way.

Not a bad idea.
I was originally intending on not using items for customs and breeding, and just paying in Aqua.
That way it would eliminate that extra step with buying an item when you do not have to.
But I could do options like:
Breed two of your own Aquamoris (both from AC)
Breed two of your own Aquamoris (one custom, one AC)
and same for breeding with someone else.

And just have a higher aqua cost for the one custom as a parent.

I think I will do that. Thoughts?

Not a bad idea.

I like both of those ideas, especially the part about limiting the number of pups in a litter although maybe it could be done for all litters and not just customs. The randomness would make breeding more challenging and also help to limit mutations floating around.
