Relationship with Father (Can be story or explanation. No word limit):
Sprouting up, being considerably different from his father, Nigel is more worrisome than grumpy, and more of a book hoarder than a monster hunter. That being said, Nigel still greatly looks up to his father, he may not have all of the stiffness and dominance his father has, but he seeks information from him for almost everything.
This little boy has a grand collection of intricate mythical and mystery books, and although he doesn't fully understand the concept of his dads job, he writes notes on the creatures he thinks his dad hunts and shows them to him, hoping to help.
Not wanting the physical ability of being a monster hunter Nigel rather follows in research, even at a young age trying to figure out which incantations could kill a vampire, and what remedies for werewolfism may work.
He'll lightly nip at his fathers paws and fin, trying to get his attention, showing him the books, quite large, with sticky notes placed all over their pages. As you can understand, Nigel is not the agile type, he is usually quite soft, peacefully surrounded by books rather than monster hunting equipment.
In a way though, Nigel is also like his father, he doesn't have the strength daddy does, but he gets into fights all too often. Whenever people make fun of him, or talk about how daddy doesn't always show up at school until he's an hour late, or just when another student at school says something stupid, Nigel loses his temper. He can't keep his mouth shut. The young child can be as ill-natured and stern, just about his own subjects. Although it is more of a quick happening with Nigel.
He is usually found with bandages on his body, all over his cheeks and arms, and legs and tummy. And he tries to hide them with large sweaters, ones with beautifully complex designs that distract from all of the bruises and scratch marks. He doesn't like making dad worry.
He loves his father, with all of his heart, he knows that even if the world abandons him, his father never will. He'll always be there for his boy, to let him sneak up on him and "surprise" his big monster hunter daddy, or to be his pillow when the childs been reading too much and slips into sleep. And as much as his father wants to protect Nigel, he want's to do the same for him.
