Bijoux are a type of kirin who are closely related to dik-diks. They are small bovids that, instead of keratin, have gems or minerals that form their hooves, horns, and a thin layer beneath their skin to serve as a shield. They are herbivores that stand two feet tall. Their social structure is a hierarchy, which means that one Bijou rules the others. It is believed they have healing abilities based on the gem/ mineral found in their bodies. They are very timid creatures and prefer to stay with their own kind. Caves are very sacred to Bijoux and some herds even live in them to be closer to the precious stones found within.

name --- When I first layed my eyes on this Bijoux, I could not stop but marvel at his beauty. His colors so gentle, his expression so wise, and his eyes so deep and thoughtful. I searched long and hard for a name that would suit him. Finally I thought of the northern Lights. I almost immediately went off in search of a name that fit this natural phenomena. Aurora is the goddess of the northern lights, and as he is certainly a buck i figured he needed a name that wasn't meant for a female. As I still adored the name Aurora, i finally found the name Auroru, and I knew that it was the best name for this Bijoux.

likes --- He's always adored the night skies when there are no clouds in sight. Its simply so beautiful to him. he always wondered what stars were. His mother always told him that the stars were the spirits of their ancestors who had passed on, watching over them. He also loves being alone. not because he is antisocial, but when you are alone you can notice so many details around you. Whether its the sound the wind makes as it rushes through the trees, or the tiny sounds the other creatures around him make. His favorite weather is when its winter, and snow covers the ground and trees, but when its not snowing or only lightly snowing.

personality --- Auroru has a very beautiful gentleness to him. Not only does this beauty reflect on his outside, it also is nearly everything that can describe who he is on the inside. Gentle. He is also very wise. As soon as you take a look at him you can see that he knows much, but he will never say he knows enough. He truly loves to learn. Despite loving to find new information and knowing much, he can be quite fun to be around. he can be very playful and joking. If you catch him in the wrong mood though, he will simply shoo you away. In no way rudely, but his normally happy self will be absent.
past --- Auroru was born and lived the majority of his life in the sky columns, but when he was only a fawn(?), he had great dreams of visiting the Cavern of Creation. he had heard so many incredible stories of the Cavern of Creation. Stories of its beauty, of how peaceful and lovely it was. After living in the Sky Columns for two years, he finally got to go to the Cavern of creation with his mother. It was more beautiful than he ever could have imagined. The glowing crystals were gorgeous, but the tree was stunning. it is his favorite experience in his life. As of now he is living in the Vagarian Woods, and enjoying living there, but he does visit the sky columns every once in a while.
