What is a Voxxie?

A Voxxie is a small creature, around the size of a rat. They are in fact blind; living deep in under the earth, the need for sight was not necessary with the unfathomable blackness. Regardless of their lack of sight, they are no where near helpless. With their highly sensitive noses, ears and sense of touch, they are able to make their way around quite easily. They usually live in colonies of up to 15 or so Voxxies, although there is no hierarchy; just all living together. They are omnivores, eating whatever is available to them, but they are never cannibalistic. The fluffy hair around their ears and tails is actually a very unique system, the hairs are highly receptive to vibrations and help the Voxxie maneuver in the dark tunnels. All Voxxies have some some sort of glowing marking, no one knows exactly why, but it is believed that the markings give off some sort of smell, or sound that only other Voxxies can detect. And it is thought that this helps in knowing who is who.

One to two babies is the norm for a Voxxie pair, but a third baby is possible, although very rare. A baby Voxxie is born very fluffy, and vulnerable, relying heavily upon their parents for food and care.

This Voxxie seems to have very hard shiny skin, almost like a robot, Strange....

Name: Vitaz

Name meaning: It's Victor in Slovak.Victor as in winner.

Gender: Male

Personality:Vitaz is a bit of a rebel, he doesn't like following rules. This often put him at odds with other Voxxies in the colony. He loves games of all kinds, and he will play any game he is asked to. He never turns down a challenge. Sometimes he doesn't think things through, but he's getting better at that, now that lives on the Grid. He makes friends quickly when he's in a new place and he likes to chat. In general he's pretty social. He's more serious now, but not too much. He often finds himself missing his old friends but he has many new friends.

Favorite foods: His favourite is the shrimp that live in the rivers near his cave. Or they did,
when he still lived in this world. He misses their flavour.

Story: Vitaz paced in the holding cell, hoping he would get out soon.
A guard came down the corridor, stopping at Vitaz's cell. He
opened the door. Vitaz stepped out cautiously, and the guard
pushed him forward. As they continued along the tunnel, the roar
of the crowd grew louder and louder until the guard pushed
him out into the stadium. Vitaz stumbled into a transparent pod.
He could feel another Vox in the pod and a small, disc shaped object
was on his flank. He reached for it, and a visor slid down over his
face. He breathed in deep, and threw it at his opponent. He heard
a noise like glass shattering and the crowd roared. Vitaz smiled.
He would enjoy this.

BEFORE
Vitaz ran down the tunnel, away from the others. The
game was beginning, and he was still near the seeker. If he didn't
get away soon, they would smell him, and it would all be over. He
sensed an unfamiliar tunnel nearby, and without thinking, scampered
down it. He could smell outside air up ahead. Approaching the end
of the passage, Vitaz found a curious object. It seemed to made of
metal, and it made a strange whirring noise as he approached it.
A beam of green light shot out of it, and before Vitaz knew what
was happening, he found himself somewhere else.

BACK IN THE GAMES
The orange Voxxie stood over Vitaz, holding his disc
just a centimetre from his throat. The black helmet hid the other's
features from view. He could hear him breathing, and Vitaz grew
tense as he moved his disc onto his throat. A single drop of blood
fell from the cut and splashed to the ground.
"User." Said the orange Vox, his voice turned into a harsh growl by
the helmet. He stared up at a booth near the top of the arena.
Vitaz seized his chance. He lept up, knocking the other Vox down,
and made a break for it. He sprinted out onto the streets and hid.
The guards never found him.
