theme song: Reaper Man by Mother Mother. I chose this song for this guy because it's saying 'I'm lost in this world' and about getting away from the rat race. Rupert is a very down-to-earth kind of guy and despises the society that demands he be kept it line. He doesn't want to be judged for anything and doesn't care about idiotic standards.
When he did try to fit in, it messed him up real bad and he became an unfriendly horse, shaped by the laws of what's right and what's not. Once he realized what had become of him, he touched back into his old self, and forever ignored social standards.

Rupert is a very kind, humorous guy who would never turn his back on a friend. He loves to joke around and he's the kind of guy who would ask you to go hang out, just you and him. He'd rather be with one close friend than a bunch of half-friends, because he knows value is more important than numbers.

One thing Rupert absolutely loves is swimming. He loves to bath in a lake under the shining sun, and feel the cool water soaking his coat. He doesn't hate getting muddy either, because it gives him an excuse to go wash it off.
When Rupert is alone, he doesn't feel lonely, but rather relaxed. He'll listen to the songs of the birds and the rustle of leaves as wind whispers through the tall trees. He loves to sunbath and will often doze off in a quiet meadow.

Rupert is very loyal, but doesn't trust easily. He will trust a new friend with small things, like little bits of information of himself but nothing that could come back to bite him. It takes a while to slowly climb up to a point where he can fully relax with you and not have to watch his mouth. However, he doesn't care about rumours because that's just another point that proves how cruel some horses can be. He doesn't let insults bother him, but if one dares say something less than nice about a close friend, he will become more wild than you've ever seen.
Rupert never abandons a friend or avoids awkward conversations. If there is friction between him and a herd member, he will never just ignore that horse. He's rather listen to their side of the story, and then tell his own. If it turns out that they can't work it out, so be it, but he'd still never leave their side when danger erupts.
Because of his laid-back personality, Rupert rarely gets into any trouble with others. He's a calm fellow who doesn't take things seriously, and all he wants to do is have some fun.
