Blackstream nodded. "Why don't I just stay? I mean, I can help you carry some back." she said joyfully.

Silverstar gazed around the clearing at the gathering cats. "Stormpaw needs a mentor. So now I think it's best to give him one." she announced. "Graystorm will be his mentor." she decided. "Unless Graystorm doesn't want to be his mentor, what do you say?" she asked Graystorm.

"Oh yes, I'll see you later," Graystorm nuzzled Phoenixfire once more before scampering off to the deputy's position under the high rock, next to Silverstar. As Silverstar began, Graystorm pricked his ears as he was announced Stormpaw's mentor. His emerald eyes filled with joy, but also hurt as he realized it would mean less time with Phoenixfire, but she'd have to wait. "I will do it for the clan." He replied to Silverstar simply.

"You don't have to do that," Amberleaf said, a sweat appearing upon her face as she gave Feli and Lovino a plea for help to back her situation up.

PheonixFire's ears perked at the sound of 'apprentice'. Unlike most other cats, she had yet to meet StormPaw, and was slightly curious.
