Ethereal is calm and elegant at sight, but has her wild side. Around her subjects, she appears very regal and serene for her age, and a perfect heir to the throne, but when she has free time, she is like any other young Iqena. She loves exploring the depths of the castle, and can spend hours enjoying wildlife.She is very open to new ideas and listens intensely to her subjects concerns, and maintains a friendly relationship with everyone.
Relationship with Ulric:
Ulric is what you may call bipolar, and has a personality disorder. He has "episodes", or temper tantrums, to put it simply. He is expected to rule the kingdom as he is the older of the two, but cannot do it alone. Ethereal is the only Iqena who can calm him, and when he does have one of his episodes, she hums a tune (Shown below as "theme song") that calms him down. Ethereal is concerned of her brother's sanity, and how he shall ever be king and rule. He has always had weak legs, so she has bandaged them ever since they were little.

This lets her picture the scene around her,
and she can find her way around just fine. She can tell

of anger and confusion and can rush to calm him.

The Birth Of The Princess:A long time ago, there lived a young kind-hearted king. The people of the kingdom adored him. He never did anything for the his own benefit, he only gave and gave to his people.
Many say, that was the reason for his downfall.
This kind King got so caught up in making everyone happy, that he didn't take care of himself and he became very ill. At first it was only a cold, but it worsened each day until he was too weak to walk. As his health deteriorated, the people grew worrisome. Their beloved King's life was hanging by a thread, and there was no heir to the throne.
One terribly stormy night, when the clock struck midnight, the King took his last shaky breath. He had only been 21.
The next morning was pierced with the wails of his people. Women, children, and even the most rugged of men, cried for the loss of their King. The people grieved for many days.
After weeks of sadness, the Royal Council decided that they would try to bring back the King in the form of a divine spirit. They had heard stories of divine beings named "Iqena" that were kind-hearted souls reborn into mystic creatures. They instructed the Kingdom to think of the King being reborn on that the next night when the clock struck twelve.
When Ulric was born, they realized this would not work as the people who hated the king would make another "insane" Iqena. The Royal council gathered only the kindhearted and made them think of the kindhearted king, and they filled the kingdom with pure thoughts. Ethereal was born, but did not have a hateful side like Ulric, and was peaceful and "the perfect heir". Ethereal, being accepting, understood Ulric and swore to help him.
