Hello Cottonwood Fans, and welcome to Prehistoric Cottonwood , hosted by the ever generous and odd Erebus Gotzon! This colossal event will run like any other at Cottonwood. There will be horses up for adoption, and all you have to do is win them! This , however, is very much like a Tour. Erebus has had some unused land he is lending for the event. This 'park' of his is for the temporary housing of many semi-wild horses and/or herds. Now, There will be many types of horses popping up here. Jurassic Jumpers, Prehistoric Ponies, Triassic Titans, and so many more! This event will feature horses based off of some well , and lesser known, dinosaurs. Some featured on the Iconic Movie (Or mentioned in the Novel) , and some , not. Mind you , these are simply horses that will either be decorated and dressed like said dinosaurs, or may have some tack, or even personalities to give the grand lizards a run for their money. The smaller dinosaurs, Compsognathus for example, will be represented by smaller horses (or Ponies!). While Larger dinosaurs, take the iconic Tyrant Lizard King, will be represented by larger horses (Drafts, for example). and of course everything in between.
And, of course, this event will feature horses based off of the Movie's (and/or novel's) Characters. Dr. Hammond, Dr. Grant, Dr. Malcom.. Well, you get the idea.
The horses representing Dinosaurs are likely wild, let's keep this is mind. While some are tamed and may even have tack, most others are not, and can be just as vicious, or as frightened, as the Great Lizards once were. Due to their wild Status, they do roam free on this bit of land. There are perimeter fences, to keep them within the 'Park' , certainly, but little else. Some of the More aggressive have been separated from the other herds. These horses are used, somewhat, to human presence, and some of them human touch. Erebus has a knack for taking in the frightened, impossible, damaged, and aggressive horses- so it's not a terrible surprise that these horses, or herds, may be decorated or tacked. There is nothing in the land that could harm the horses- Those that are indeed tacked are only tacked for showing purposes during the tour, and are , obviously, not given the freedom to roam with their wilder brethren.
You may win up to three Dino adopts total, but you can only win ONE Character, so keep that in mind.
This is open to Cottonwood Members only - But it certainly isn't too late to sign up if you're not a member yet!
