I nearly collapsed when I saw him, I swear I did. I've seen many horses throughout my life but he... he was something special indeed. As he cantered around the paddock, that stallion turned heads, and boy did he know it! However, I didn't consider him vain; after all, who wouldn't love to move like that, with a bonny bay coat shining with good health in the afternoon sunlight. He turned his noble head, his brown eyes searching for someone, or something, and when I fell under the force of that gaze I felt as helpless as a snowflake in a mighty blizzard. My heart began to race, and in an instant one word popped into my heart, as clearly as thought it was written in the stallion's honest eyes. "Croí." I whispered.
