She has an overly positive attitude that is often contagious. Lotus is always laughing, smiling, telling jokes, and talking. She's incredibly sensitive, so be careful when your around her or she may burst into tears. Lotus has an abundance of energy, she could go on all day and all night. She works harder than anyone when it comes to organizing or party planning. If she isn't kept busy by something - anything - she feels like she might explode. Everyone says she's crazy and has ADHD, but Lotus believes she's unique. She has a good kind heart, and loves making new friends and attending social gatherings. She sometimes puts her trust in others too easily, and ends up getting hurt, or worse, her heart broken. Lotus may be annoying to most, but she's loyal and incredibly compassionate.

Story: It was a bright and clear morning, and Lotus was going on her usual refreshing walk for the day. She waved at her neighbors and offered a cheerful smile to every stranger she passed. Lotus was passing through the park when she heard a faint chirping sound coming from the pond. Curious as to what it was, she made her way over and glanced around. Finding nothing, she figured that maybe she imagined it. But wait - there it was again!

Now fully intrigued, Lotus began rifling through the weeds. And there it was. A tiny little chick was whimpering sadly, tangled in human trash. Totally disgusted by the situation, Lotus carefully picked the chick off the ground and removed it from the trash. "Oh my goodness, are you all right little thing?" she murmured softly. "Now who in their right mind would throw a cute thing like you away? By a pond no less! Don't they know you're not a duck?"

Lotus stood and tucked the chick in her sweater pocket. She walked straight back to her home, a good sense of accomplishment welling up in her heart. She was so glad she was able to get to the chick in time, before it was seriously hurt - or worse! "Now, what am I gonna call you?" Lotus inquired out loud. "Hmm...how 'bout Chica?"
