Well would you look at this pretty baby!
Bear run has recently gotten some outstanding and beautifully colored horses from a breeding ranch that was shutting down. However, the horses are all in poor condition because their previous owner didn't have the money to care for them properly. Rather than sending these beauties off to the shelter, they were picked up and brought here to Bear Run where we hope to adopt them out to loving new owners who will be able to nurse them back to health and give them a happy new home!

The boy is one of the bunch that was better off as far as health goes. He's underweight and had some over grown hooves that have since been trimmed, but he is extremely skittish.
To adopt him I would like you to tell me how you would go about gaining his trust. You are also welcome to decorate your form if you would like to

Day 1
Nyra sighed and watched as her new addition galloped about the round pen. He didn't look angry, he appeared to be absolutely terrified. I walked toward the fence and he leaped back, nearly hitting the rails. " Calm down boy" I murmured softly as I back away. Oh what was a going to do with him. Suddenly he stopped and for a moment, with the sun shining down on him and his head raised up in the sky, he looked simply regal...like a king. That was it, his name would be King, so his confidence could start with his name
Day 5
The fifth day and now that King had settled in a little, I needed to figure out how to gain his trust. First he would have to get used to me, so I stood by the fence, it wasn't helping anything because King looked just as frightened as before. I turned away and leaned against the fence, maybe he wouldn't mind of I wasn't looking at him. After sitting there for almost an hour, I began to slide down the fence until my rump hit the ground. I figured I could just sit there for awhile. Slowly I devoted off to sleep against the round one rails. I awoke to a soft snuffling by my ear, I had to resist the urge to spin around and look at him. I felt his nose on my back, softly prodding me and then heard the sound of reseeding hoofbeats. At last today was a start.
