Favorite Music;
Lucas's favorite band is Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance, Bullet for my Valentine, and Pierce the Veil. He loves to listen to hardcore songs with a fast guitar but he can also like very haunting music which words wrap around your heart and squeeze it, making it feel as if you have suffocated in the lyrics of the song. One particular song he loves is Knives and Pens. He was always teased for being different, being "emo" and he was always treated differently for wearing black, black hair, band shirts, and liking metal music. He finally stood up, writing some of his own music, and didn't listen to others. He is stronger now and he really doesn't care what others think about. His favorite band, Black Veil Brides, leader Andy Biersack said, "Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone." When he heard this, he felt like he didn't have to hide who he was anymore. Metal music just speaks to him like classical piano speaks to a pianist, or the way the violin sounds to a violinist. He seems distant sometimes but thats just who he is. Many think he is "satanic" or a "devil worshipper" but in all honesty, he used to be Christian. He actually loves the idea of religion and so does his favorite band. He thinks that the idea of a higher being watching over him really influences the lyrics in most of his music, although he isn't sure how good it is. Long story short, Lucas's biggest idol is Andy Biersack and Black Viel Brides and he will never stop loving hardcore music and actually wants to have metal played at his funeral.

caleb loves listening to classical music.
he doesn't have a good relationship to his parents and classical music calms him down after one of the many quarrels he has with his parents. he needs to escape from the real world from time to time and this music is helping him a lot. although caleb doesn't look like a guy who listens to classical music, he has liked it since he was a little plumie. classical music is basically his best friend because it never fails to comfort him.

it was one of these days where everything was bad. the weather was bad, it was raining and icy cold. caleb was on his way back home, expecting his angry mother when he'd show her his math test that he had failed. he had tried to hide all his bad grades from his parents once, but his father found out and he wasn't allowed to leave the house for two weeks.
once he entered the house, his mother yelled: "close the door! it's cold outside. i don't wanna catch a cold!" caleb did what she wanted, fearing her reaction when he'd show her his math test. he went into the kitchen, pulling the test out of his school bag. "mom...", he began "i got my math test back... it's not really a good grade." his mother turned around. caleb expected her to yell at him or to throw things at him, but she did nothing. she just said "i'm disappointed that you are my son. just got to your room."
caleb began to climb upstairs to his room. he felt empty. alone. unloved.
all he did for the rest of the day was listening to his favorite music, classical music.
