I haven't always had this dream but it seems lately each time I lay my head to rest I'm in the same place...
Surrounded by a tall oak forest I walk slowly from the spot I start from. The trees are green and healthy, a small river to the left of me trickles, it's clear but appears to be brown like the rocks underneath. It is home to trout that slightly move down stream. It looks delicious, sparkling, drawing me to it. I make my way steadily, unsure of what is so tempting. As I bend my head down my reflection shows, giving appearance to my ember eyes, they are clear as crystal. As I study it I let my tongue taste the water, its cold, like the snow the water melts from up the mountain. I attempt to drink more but through my satisfaction I notice a creature appear in front of me, across the way. It's a doe, she has brown fur, like the water. Her company grabs my full attention, she has a small white blaze from her nose to the middle of her head. I notice her belly is splashed with a white mark as well as all four hooves colored with white socks. Her tail curls up revealing the big white bushy fur on the bottom side. Her muscles seem to tighten and she suddenly leaps across the river past me. Once over the river she bounces twice, then she stops, looking back. I watch and notice that a ray of sun gives her spot light. I have the urge to suddenly follow her. I flick my tail unsure, why does she seem so important... Making up my mind I turn to her. As if to understand my decision she begins to bounce away. I begin to gallop after her, she moves with out effort, bounce after bounce. The forest feels like it watching me as I follow that white tail. She stops as if a invisible wall blocks her, I get close enough to sniff her. She smells warm and like moss. Her head turns to me and I touch her black damp nose to my own. She has black eyes but they sparkle and are so embracing they appear to be full of life. She looks away, pointing to something else, a figure. It's... A person. The forest has opened up, as if to give this mysterious person room. This figure is wearing a brown cloak, covering their body and face with the shadow of the hood. Just like the doe, this person is in a ray of spotlight. The doe walks over the the figure, she is fearless. The person reaches out with what looks like a slender white hand, I notice a emerald ring sitting on their middle finger. I watch them stroke the doe's head while they whisper. It's a woman's voice, what is she saying... I notice I don't feel afraid or even worried as I watch. And the person's voice sounds soothing and lullaby like. I begin to walk to her, closing my eyes to the sound of her voice. I'm now two steps away but by the time I open my eyes she and the doe have disappeared, gone. The last word I swear the trees whisper is, Paisley...
