General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

I'll be doing a "12 Days of Xmas" Chrysaora Adoption Advent. As it sounds, I'll be making 12 pre-designed Chrysaora all wrapped and ready to go to a new home. Each Chrysaora will come out one a day, starting on the 25th. Each will have a short contest (no more than a few sentences) and a 24hr competition. There will be no extensions of extras allowed, and you're only allowed to win once, so choose wisely. If you win a Chrysaora and decide you don't like it, you may gift it to another competitor in the competition with my approval, but you will not be allowed to win another. The only catch is that you won't see your chrysaora until after you win it, so if you're ok with surprises then this is the event for you.

To this lady there is nothing better than lying down and feeling the sun's warmth bathe her in it's beautiful glory. The feeling is absolutely soothing and she can hardly resist such a thing. Sunshine makes her feel absolutely regal, like she's some sort of lost royalty merely awaiting her subjects to come and bask in her radiance. The heat of the sun on her back and the gentle tickle of grass beneath her belly as she suns herself allows this Chrysaora to really fine tune her senses to the nature around her.
